Works as shown - Much stronger than I expected
I have a 14ft aluminum row boat and this was able to push me fast enough to beach the boat and walk straight out onto dry land, something I wasn't able to do using oars. Use caution in reverse, the pull at slow speeds can lure you into not holding on hard enough, just about yanked itself out of my hands .

Really works!
I use this in my Cumberland float tube. The most important thing to factor into this is a good drill and batteries. I have a 20v Dewalt drill I use with the drill paddle. It came with 1.5AH batteries and you can get 15-20 mins use out of them. I bought 2 6AH batteries and with those I can use the drill paddle for hours. Just make sure not to use the drill constantly, it will ruin your drill, give the drill breaks to cool down. The Dewalt drill/2 1.5AH batteries and charger was $99. The 2 6AH batteries were $190 and the drill paddle was $50 when I bought it, so all together I’m into it $339. My justification was I can always use a nice drill/batteries for around the house. So to sum this up it’s a great buy but if you want to use the thing for more than 15-20 mins get bigger AH batteries.

Deceptive ad.
The Lithium-Ion batteries last from ½ an hour to 45 minutes at maximum power, to about 1 hour or more when cycled every 5-10 seconds (which is recommended) this keeps your drill and battery cool to prevent overheating. That line there leads you to believe the drill comes with it. It does not. Will never purchase from this buyer or any related to it.

Don’t hesitate! Buy it!
The media could not be loaded. This thing is amazing! Definitely worth the money if you are deciding on getting one. I tried it for the first time with a 20v dewalt hammer drill and boy does this thing move!!! You do have to learn to navigate it when it goes full throttle.

Loud
Really loud. Works for my paddleboard but I can actually paddle faster. Drill needs to be housed in a waterproof box for saftey and noise. With some fabrication could be useful. Probably sell mine.

Worked on a Sunfish.
It’s simple but well designed and accomplished the task of getting us back home. There’s a bit of a learning curve in figuring out direction though.
