Best Easy Day Hikes Grand Staircase-Escalante and the Glen Canyon Region

I ordered this book to help in planning a trip to Zion, Bryce and Escalante Staircase. It is a little book packed with everything you need to know to plan a great hiking trip. While we will not be heading into the back country, it gave us a good selection of short day hikes, and even included if a particular hike was safe for dogs. It gave us maps, and written directions on how to get to the trailheads, and hikes to take depending on what you are looking for (waterfalls, canyons, narrows, etc). Look no further, it's all here in one small book that will fit in your day pack or back pocket. Happy hiking!

It provides a lot of very specific detail on how to access the hiking trails and what to expect on the hikes. It has amples references to more detailed information.

I'm not a real advanced hiker but I love southern Utah, so this book is perfect for me.
