It does what it's supposed to do

The kit itself arrives in a smallish box. There are full instructions as well as a handy reference card (I have included a photo of the reference card). It advises you avoid any sexual activity for between 3 and 7 days to allow for a decent sample. The instructions are very easy to follow and the whole process is straightforward. The testing process should take no more than 30 minutes. You have to allow your sample to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before moving on to the next stage, then up to 2 minutes for the next 2 steps. The test kit was very simple to use. I have never had my sperm concentration checked professionally, so I can't say whether the results were accurate or not. But considering it only took less than half an hour for the whole testing process, and you can do it at home, it may be worth doing this test before embarking on any full medical tests.

This kit is easy to use to give you an idea of how many swimmer you have. The TLDR version is, the kit has a filter pad that only leaves behind your swimmers. You then drip some dye on them. Compare the colour on the test card, the darker it is you have 15+ million/ml, lighter means you have less and white/clean means you have 5 million/ml or less. I won’t explain all the details here but it’s an easy enough test to use. It takes about 20 minutes in total once you have your sample. For the best quality sample it’s best to have 3-7 days before your last “sample” if you catch my drift. All in all this test kit seems simple enough to use and understand albeit that there is a bit of reading to do with the instruction booklet. While I have no other test to compare the results to I have no reason to believe why they would not be within the accuracy they state.

Whilst this won't be able to say whether you are infertile, it will provide you with an indication whether your sperm count is healthy or whether it may be worthwhile seeking professional advice. Ideal for those who are curious, or for family planning. The instructions are provided on a card and a more detailed run-down is provided in a leaflet. The card provides instructions clear simple instructions that are easy to follow. The container for the sample contains some powder that, in my case looked less powdery and more flakey, despite the look, it did the job of thinning the sample. All of the kit provided seem of high quality and didn't cause any issues or mess. You can complete the test in about 20 minutes, so it's quite quick. I do recommend.

Very easy and quick to use. The instructions are written in minuscule letters... you'll have to take a photo and zoom in. Otherwise, it just takes a couple steps and a few minutes. Also be aware that the result will just tell you whether you have a normal level or not. "Normal" defined as 15 million.
