Great but DON'T LET PETS WALK ON IT. It's toxic to pets & kids. Pets will lick it off and hurt them.
Boric Acid is a great roach killer. I've used it for 40 years. Keep away from pets and kids. Don't let your garage cats, or dogs walk on the powder since they will lick it off. However, in the garage, it is great to use under metal cabinets that you don't move. And I like the new powder duster they included in this package because this makes it easy to puff into the weep-holes of my foundation! By treating your weep-holes, you are protecting your house from those bugs that crawl in through them and spread through your house. When my sheetrock was torn out after a flood in the early 1990's, I put boric acid between the walls. I live in a very dense wooded area in a humid climate known for their big roaches. For 30 years, I never had them in my house unless they were dead. Sadly, I got badly flooded again 30 years later and forgot to redo it. This Spring and summer I saw my first live ones inside. I was shocked!! But now I bought this with the puffer and know it will work. However, if you ever remodel, I highly recommend putting the powder between the walls. No moisture gets to it and it stay good.

Has worked better than the professionals
We moved into a historic home a little over a year ago and quickly realized that the previous owner had a serious roach problem. From the very beginning, we were finding live roaches in almost every room of the house, and we even found evidence of them in the attic. We hired a professional pest-control company to spray, but even a month later, we were still seeing roaches. Thatโs when I decided to try Harris Roach Powderโand Iโm so glad I did! The powder has been incredibly effective for us. It has no noticeable odor, and the dispenser makes it easy to apply a very fine layer into cracks, crevices, and hard-to-reach areas. It can even spray the powder several feet, which is especially helpful in an old house with lots of nooks and crannies. The powder continues to work as long as it stays dry. The biggest difference we noticed is that when we occasionally see a roach now, it is dead rather than alive and running through the house! The boric acid works by dehydrating the insects, and the powder can also be carried back to areas where other roaches are hiding. After dealing with this problem for so long, we are extremely impressed with the results. We highly recommend Harris Roach Powder to anyone struggling with a roach problem. It has been a game changer for our home!

Late review...but this stuff earned it ๐
I bought this back in August 2025, so this review is about a year overdue. I was scrolling Amazon today, saw this product again, and immediately thought, "Wait...I NEED to leave a review for this!" For some context, my husband and I rent a home that we absolutely love. Our landlord has been great, but unfortunately the previous tenants left behind one very unwanted gift... ๐ชณ๐ชณ๐ชณ When we first moved in, we'd maybe see 1 roach a day in the kitchen. Annoying, but manageable. We kept everything clean - no crumbs, dishes washed, counters wiped down, trash taken out, etc. But somehow the problem just kept getting worse. One became five. Five became...I stopped counting ๐ญ. At that point we realized we weren't just seeing roaches - we had a full-blown infestation ๐ญ๐ฉ๐ฑ!! Like...a REALLY BAD one. I'm the overly proactive one in our marriage ๐, so I wasn't waiting around. I emptied every cabinet, deep cleaned everything, moved basically our entire kitchen into the dining room, and started researching products. That's when I found this boric acid powder. I applied it throughout the kitchen, and...it absolutely worked. ๐ Now, if you're dealing with a serious infestation like we were, don't expect overnight miracles. In our case, it took about 4 months with the kitchen mostly torn apart so the powder could do its job. But the results were worth every bit of patience. Today, a year later, I can still walk into my kitchen, flip on the lights, and NOT have to carry a sandal as a weapon ๐. One thing I will mention: This powder sticks around. Even after cleaning, wiping, and vacuuming over the last year, I still occasionally find traces of it in little cracks and corners. That wasn't a dealbreaker for me, but it's something to be aware of. Overall, if you're dealing with a stubborn infestation, I genuinely recommend this product!! It wasn't an instant fix, but it was an effective one. Hopefully I never have to fight roaches again ๐ค๐ชณ, but if I do...this is absolutely the product I'd buy again. I still have plenty left over, (I'd say half the bag) so the extra could probably cover the rest ๐

This product is amazing! I love the idea of the little canister to pour the powder in. It is easy to use and the little pointer attachment can go under the tinniest place to squeeze the powder in. Itโs odorless and sprays out so freely. Already I am seeing roach reduction in my home. I like that itโs safe to use and the price is very affordable. Definitely a keeper!

Applicator is so awful that powder could be effective but will never know
The applicator is so awful it is impossible to apply. It works for the first puff then the powder comes out from everywhere else going anywhere except where I'm trying to apply it. Thought possibly I made a mistake and the lid was loose so I tightened it more and it popped off. Tried bumping the lid which was a suggestion on the package but didn't help. After each puff I would go back out to the garage keeping the mess outside the house to disassemble and bang out the applicator and reassemble so it would work for another puff. Realizing the 5 minute project was going to take an hour I gave up.

Works but has a distinct odor
Product is simple but messy to apply with the applicator, there is a bit of a learning curve to get it to perform well. It is a type of plastic bellows that needs to be depressed so the product shoots from a long plastic tube. I had to experiment with pressure to find the correct amount so that I didn't have a mound or none at all. I finally gave up on it and applied the product with a chip brush, dipping it in product and dusting areas of concern, I found this method worked better than the applicator although the product would not penetrate deep into crevices it was irrelevant as it was effective. The product itself has a distinct, chemical odor that I found offensive but it is not overwhelming on application, although it is when stored. It works as advertised, I have not seen any type of crawling insect since application.
