I was loving the look and style of this bench and I bought 2 for my waiting room. I chose it because it is long, plush and holds a lot of weight, and the price was very good for those qualities. They are supposed to hold 440 lb. We assembled them at home and they seemed easy to put together and quite nice. However, one of them broke almost immediately when in use by people sitting on them, not even close to that much weight, likely closer to 300 lb with 2 persons on them. The break pulled through the wood so we're not hopeful to fix it, so Amazon is helping me return the item and the seller is going to pay for the return. Here's hoping the return process and refund go well - if it doesn't, I will post an update. The other bench is holding up so far, but I looked at one of the legs on that one today and it seems to be leaning in a little, after less than 2 weeks of use. My husband is hoping to reinforce it before it breaks through the wood as well. So my summary is these benches look nice and classy, but the sturdiness is questionable at best.

Directions are missing information about washers or where the legs were. I thought the were missing from the box.It was easy to assemble but it would have been nice if the parts weren't hidden inside the under panel. Hint: Make sure to open up the Velcro end to look for the legs & screws/washers.

I wanted to find something sturdy since more than one person was going to be sitting on it while removing or putting on their shoes. I was easy to assemble and it’s so easy to clean when my 2 year old smears anything on it. It is the perfect addition to our mudroom.

assembly was tricky as parts were missing and then bench was wobbly once assembled. have to be careful of who sits on it and make sure they sit in the middle :) but it looks cute!

Packaged great. Went together perfectly. Good value for the cost.
