Marc MoranoThe Politically Incorrect Guide to Climate Change (The Politically Incorrect Guides)

A Masterpiece of Research
This excellent book is basically comprised of two parts. In the first part (Ch. 1-10 & 12) the author debunks (by copious citations to scientific authorities) the populist allegations of “global warming”, and in particular any anthropogenic (i.e., “human-caused”) contribution thereto. In the second part (Ch. 11 & 13-20) the author reveals (mostly by citations to “climate advocates” themselves) the underlying political agenda and financial motivations of the “climate advocates”.As I see it, the agenda of the author (Marc Morano) is to inform the public about an important topic by providing them with important information which has essentially been previously withheld from them (for reasons that are apparent once one reads Chs. 13 20).This book is a masterpiece of research – Morano cites to a truly vast number of individuals in the scientific community in order to undermine the claims of the “climate advocates”, and to reveal their true motives. To his credit, Morano does not proceed from the position of trying to support a hypothesis, but rather from the position of debunking the hypothesis of the climate advocates (i.e., that global warming is caused by human activity). Morano is to be commended for refraining from hyperbole, sarcasm and personal attacks in his presentation – his only attacks are on the so-called “science” used by the climate advocates, as well as on the motivations of the climate advocates.A number of things become very clear from this book: (1) climate science is exceedingly complex, and it’s fair to say that no one really understands all of the variables that lead to climate change, let alone how they work and interact; (2) the case for “human-caused global warming” has clearly NOT been made by the climate advocates; and (3) the large amount of government money available to support the global-warming hypothesis has (and continues to) corrupt the scientific community in favor of this dubious hypothesis. What is also evident (from casual observation) is that, notwithstanding much recent evidence that “human-caused global warming” cannot be proven (e.g., the faulty “hockey-stick” temperature chart), the climate advocates (such as Al Gore, the UN IPCC and their minions) have done such a good job of brainwashing the public since the 1990’s that by now it’s virtually impossible to convince people that it was all just a big con job. It’s now time to reverse that trend, and reading this book is a good way to start. My only “complaint” (if you can call it that) about this book is that it’s not longer. Morano could have easily filled 200 pages of appendices with graphs, data and other science-based information in order to show that the “science” used by “climate advocates” is bunk. Perhaps he could be persuaded to issue a compendium to this wonderful book in order to provide some more science to show where and how the climate advocates got it wrong in their so-called “science”.People should care a great deal about debunking the “human-caused global warming” myth since maintaining the myth will cost them lots of money - money which could be used otherwise for truly meritorious purposes (such as addressing over-fishing and over-population).If you truly care about our planet, then buy copies of this book and give them to your friends and family (as have I). Once you see your winter heating bill double from $300 a month to $600 in order to replace natural gas with “wind energy”, you will find that $17 for a copy of this book (to put a halt to this nonsense) is a mere pittance. Let’s set the record straight, and free ourselves from the “human-caused global warming” myth.

Climate Change, aka Global Warming, has Never been About Science
For years, Morano has exposed the evangelists of climate change. In this classic review of the issue, he clearly shows the claims of climate catastrophists has never had science on its side. Most of the promoters - activists, bureaucrats, and politicians - repeat what they have been told and haven't a clue about climate science.Morano's book is the prefect guide and introduction to the subject. He shows how climate change promoters have been wrong for decades, made up fake numbers (like the "97% consensus" claim), the embarrassing Climategate scandal, and details the many false claims of impending doom. He also looks behind the curtain of the political and philosophical motivations between pushing climate change agendas. This is what it has always been about. He goes into much more detail on these critical revelations in his new must-read book, The Great Reset.Anyone who understands the motivations behind climate change would never support such politicians and policies. We all must be educated on this before it's too late. See also Steven Koonin's Unsettled, and Fossil Future by Alex Epstein.

Excellent Book...Should Be Required Reading
Excellent book. Meticulously sourced and cited.I remember as a junior high student reading about the coming ice age while sitting in the school library. With all the current hype on global warming, the media had almost convinced me that I had imagined the whole ice age scare. Well, this book goes into great detail on all of the “scientists” that were absolutely convinced of the coming ice age (I hadn’t imagined it after all). The author is intelligent and conducted a vast amount of research when writing this book. This book is for anyone that is not completely convinced of man made global warming. Wait, this should be required reading for anyone that IS convinced of man made global warming. Maybe it will cause some critical thinking instead of just accepting the current hype.

One variable out of millions should not determine science or policy
The climate change industry is focused on one variable out of millions, and is using that one variable to leverage wealth redistribution from local to international levels. What the industry uses as scare tactics, such as blaming any weather pattern or catastrophic weather event or lack of catastrophic weather on man, really has no limits. Like with any mass movement or belief system, it is necessary to look at the motivations and to find the sources of their information. The motivations are simply guilt and punishment. There is no "settled science" and no consensus. The endless regurgitation of faulty statistics such as "97% of scientists" masks any real science there is and unfortunately, much of the world has been hoodwinked in a modern day eugenics like mania.I gave this book only four stars because Morano puts himself too much in the spotlight instead of putting the bad "science" front and center. Otherwise, the quotes and research are well worth the time. Also, as someone who understands economics, I wish page 308 was page 1 of the book. It essentially states that rising carbon means more luxuries like longer life for more of the world.

Wow! Science is real! Climate change, not so much...
If you are wondering what the record breaking high temperatures are, this book will tell you. If you are wondering if Scientists are actually in agreement with the anthropogenic climate change theory, you will find their footnoted testimony here. If you are wondering what the effect will be if we reduce all our greenhouse gasses, this book will inform you. If you are tired of being told that Climate Change is man made, without any real evidence beyond the Rooster crowing before the sun comes up makes the sun come up, you will find solace in this book. Great read anytime. Easy to digest chapters, and tons of real numbers and scientific data to encourage intelligent debate. Anybody remember Climate-gate? It was a doosey.
