Awesome... James Hoffman sent me here.
Excellent quality for the price. Small, simple to use, and has great build quality, it feels very sturdy. It also comes with a silicone grip for the grinder, as well as a small brush to clean away coffee dust. Probably alike many others, I purchased this on the recommendation of YouTuber James Hoffman, and I am not disappointed. I agree very much with his advice that a grinder and fresh coffee can be #1 upgrade for your setup, if you are currently buying pre-ground coffee. Pre-ground coffee becomes bitter quickly as it oxidizes. Obviously, it is less convenient than an automatic grinder: it requires you to manually dial it to the grind size you want each time you use it, which can be a hassle if you like to frequently like to drink different types of drinks (e.g., I like espresso, Vietnamese coffee, pour overs, and cold brew). However, it gets easier to remember the dial adjustments over time, and after about a week of using it, I began to remember how much to turn it without having to reset it fully. Additionally, if you are the forgetful type, there is nothing wrong with leaving yourself a written note of what the current grind size is. This is a great hand grinder for those like me who do not have space or desire to maintain a separate appliance just to grind coffee. It would make a great gift for people who like making their own coffee at home, but are still drinking pre-ground coffee.

Fantastic gateway to pour over or the like at home... Definitely recommend
I've been using this for a while now and thoroughly appreciate it. Given my approach to coffee making (1-3 cups a day on weekends) using a Hario Switch, this is perfect. It does a good job with the grind, it's reasonably easy to use, and it has held up. Quality for the price. A few notes: - Static is real. I live in a humid climate and I still need to get a little water on the beans before I grind lest the static kills me. - Definitely will find that a fine grind starts to get hard to turn. Not, Arnold Schwarzenegger hard, but still not easy. - Wish it weren't plastic and that the top stayed on a bit better, and that it had a slightly bigger hopper. - I would not want to use it to grind for a 12-cup drip machine. For the price, can't be beat, and it was a perfect entry way into home grinding using the Hario Switch. I haven't second guessed the decision once, and very glad I didn't splurge on an electric one. Have recommended it to my coffee snob friends with no shame.

Easy to turn, different settings for precise grind, quality made
This was a great purchase. We saw it recommended on YouTube and decided to give it a try. We like to grind our own coffee each morning for espresso and having the different settings is perfect. We use it on our boat with an aeropress and it grinds just the right amount. It takes less than a minute to grind enough for a cup, the blades inside are sharp (but down deep in the chamber so no chance of cutting yourself.), it's easy to turn and there is a brush to get all the coffee into the aeropress. It's definitely quality made and worth the price. Would highly recommend.

Excellent grinder!
Excellent grinder! This is my first manual grinder. It’s a great price for the beginner. I had purchased cheaper models and returned them all. This has a consistent setting for whatever grind you need. The handle is smooth. It holds about 20g of beans and grinds pretty quickly, smoothly, and fairly quiet. It also comes apart for cleaning. Wonderful for French press and pour over so far.

Great value for money and first hand grinder
fantastic for the price. Has a nice heft to it but not extremely heavy. It’s pretty easy to grind and doesn’t take too long that I’m getting tired. Generates a ton of static and chaff that get stuck to the metal but it’s easy to clean off. This is for a single dose of coffee for one person at a time, so you’ll need to load it again and grind again to pull another shot/brew. the design is good too overall and the handle is solid in use, but it’s pretty easy to fall off so I wouldn’t store this item with the handle on top. Also it’s impossible to tell where in the overall range of grind size that you are. There are guides/charts online to go to the finest grind and then go a certain number of clicks away (e.g., 40 clicks for pour over or something). Again, for the price it’s fine, but something that I’m missing

Consistent, little effort, comfortable, easy to clean
Title says it all. Grinds quite consistently and with ease. I mostly use medium roasts and require a bit more effort for lighter roasts, but this is expected. Static is not a major issue even when I forget to spray water on the beans before grinding (please, use this method). My only issue is that instructions are not included; instead, you have to donde them on the Internet. Of course, you only need them a couple times first to understand how the different grind sizes translate into the different click settings, but after a couple uses you get used to it and no longer need them.

Really Nice Grinder for A hand crafted cup of coffee.
I love having a pour over coffee in the evening with a snack or bag of famous Amos cookies. I bought this, a pour over scale, and a V60 pour over decanter. I refuse to buy beans already ground. Take the time to buy beans that are not ground and grind them yourself. This grinder will hold about 20 g of coffee. You don’t need any more than that for a cup of pour over. The grinder is not made to do a pot of coffee.. NOPE. It takes probably 30 seconds to 45 seconds to get 20 g of coffee ground up. It does what it’s supposed to do beautifully. You can adjust the grind level for how fine you want. It’s a fantastic grinder for what it’s supposed to do. Is it electric no, can you buy your beans already ground yes, but is it the same as putting them in this grinder no… if you are looking to an have amazing tasting cup of coffee buy this. Everyone who has had a cup of coffee from this says it’s way better than any coffee they’ve ever had. Take time to enjoy life, it’s the little things like this that make life fun. Where do the beans go? You might ask, the handle just slides off and the beans go under the handle. See my photos
