It was good enough for the Army
I haven't used this particular kit. However, all the parts in it are used by the military. I learned from this exact field manual in the Army, and it has nice additional tips, a few map bags, some ranger beads, a pace clicker and a great quality compass. You can't beat this for the price. Don't doubt this kit. You'll need it.
