Installed these on a 2024 Taycan- or more accurately, attempted to install. First impression was good- they came well packaged in a large box with each protector wrapped in a plastic wrap, sandwiched in a foam board. I prepped my wheels and was ready to install. Each protector requires a good, clean surface (water and soap prepped, I also used rubbing alcohol on the rim lip for good measure). Afterward, you apply an adhesive promoter around the rim lip- this is critical to ensure the 3M tape adhesion to the strenuous environment that wheels are subject to. The supplier provides 4 individually wrapped packets with an adhesive promoter wipe inside. Problem 1- these wipes are tiny. Like 2 in x 2 in tiny- barely enough for a larger diameter rim. Problem 2- and probably most critical, the first two packets were damp, at best. It appears most of the promoter dried up in storage. The other two were bone dry, completely useless. Problems 1 and 2 compounded meant I did not have enough promoter to adequately apply to all four wheels. I barely had enough to apply to two wheels.After installation, I removed the protective film and was met with an absolutely atrocious finish. I ordered black, and was sent a glossy black enamel coated aluminum alloy ring. They used barely enough enamel to coat the outside facing protector, and what’s worse is they definitely didn’t use enough on the inner lip. This means each protector has areas on the inner lip where there’s black enamel, then silver exposed aluminum. It looks like your wheels are damaged before you even drive with them. Further, all four had small nicks and scratches despite the plastic wrap meant to protect them, and the third one I installed has horrible paint orange peel. I’m afraid to even attempt to remedy this as I’m afraid the bare spots where enamel was not applied will begin peeling off (which is all but likely as these get used). This is clearly a QC issue, as someone had to wrap the protectors after they were finished, but apparently not enough care was put into rejecting these before packing them up. For $130 that’s outright unacceptable.In retrospect a wish I would have thoroughly examined them before I installed. Even if the finish was fine, durability is still questionable given the lack of adhesion promoter. Who knows how long these will last.. it seems people prior have reviewed them detaching after about 2 weeks, which I could see being completely probable. If it wasn’t a complete pain, I’d tear them off and ship them back, but they’ll be mangled up and I don’t have a box big enough for them. Let’s hope they at least provide some protectional functional value- given what I’ve seen so far on quality, I’m not holding my breath. At current, I don’t recommend these at all, hopefully the manufacturer reaches out for remedial recourse.

Product was very nicely packaged. I went out and purchased the adhesion promoters because it didn’t look like the provided ones would be enough. I cleaned my BMW rims carefully with alcohol and a rag, and then applied the adhesion promoter… twice actually. After waiting a few minutes, I installed the rings as directed. They went on beautifully and seemed to fit perfectly. Very happy with the installation. Time will tell how well they stay on the car, but the product appears beautiful if it lasts. We will see…. So far, very pleased with the product and found none of the problems others had reported. Fingers crossed…..

These Rim-Protectors are a great idea and look nice, but I don't think they will last a month. They are newly installed on my Mod3 but they use a weak emblem tape and are already coming loose. I followed all directions but unfortunately they will not last long

These were ok, but I definitely wouldn't use them again. They went on easy enough, but are only held on by double sided tape. They looked good the first two weeks, then small parts came unstuck a little. Still looked good, but I had to smooth them down all the time. Then I hit a puddle and tore one almost completely off the car. About half stayed stuck, the other half was a crumpled mess. So I removed them. They look good, and if you live somewhere without rain, they would probably be a good product, but if it rains a lot, I would not get them.Edited to add, they did contact me and offered a refund, which I thought was amazing. So I do think that if you want to try them and they don't work for you, they will at least try and do the right thing afterwards.

One of the rims came unglued about 4 inches long,it's still on the rim just looks bad wish I could buy only 1 to replace,19 inch white

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought and installed right away on my Tesla model y. I liked how it looked however, after 1 week it came off from the rim. The bad part about it was it only partially detached and i was driving in the freeway when it partially got detached. I was driving 65 mph and it hit my car as i was driving and ruined my car! BAD IDEA! It would have been better if it complete came off but it did not :( i wanted so much to love it but unfortunately, I cant :(
