I'm going to have to get a new light fixture for my old Oceanic aquarium. I will say this, though, if you don't want the "soft" daylight like (like regular incandescent lightbulbs) then I would recommend this light. Review: All burned out - I bought 3 of these lights for my 20 gallon long tank since 3!!! of them have burned out when buying at pet stores within the day. ALL of the bulbs that were delivered had a rattle in them upon opening the package, they were about half as bright as they should be and the first bulb burned out within a few hours. These are such trash quality I am honestly appalled that they can be legally sold. Can't wait to shell out unnecessary $$$ for an LED set up since these bulbs can't be made to last more than a few hours. DO NOT BUY.

Got this as a replacement bulb for my aquarium only to have the hood itself stop working. C'est la vie, I guess. I'm going to have to get a new light fixture for my old Oceanic aquarium. All burned out
