Definitely well constructed. Solid piece. I had been shopping for steel maxes a long time and decided on this one because being loadable i figured it would provide the best value and versatility for the money. The handle is really thick which at first I thought would be and issue but it’s not, takes some extra grip strength and control to use it but definitely not an issue.One of the reasons I was shopping for a mace was because of the effect it has on shoulder mobility. I had been having on and off should issues for a few years now and was done with it. Now I don’t know if it was just me but my first time using this mace I was working my left shoulder which was the one giving me trouble. Part way through a lift I heard and felt 3 pops in my left shoulder and the pin was gone. Turns out I had subluxated my scapula and rib. Using the mace adjusted them back to their proper position.This is a great workout tool, great quality, great value.

The great benefit of this loadable mace hammer is that you can purchase 1 and easily change the weight from 15 to 40 lbs. No other mace option allows for this, aside from ADEX clubs, which are around $250 each club. For the cost and the benefit everyone should have one of these.The loadable sphere size is perfect, not too large to prevent behind the body swings.The handle is plenty long and I love the wide grip.Aside from my gymnastics rings, this is now my most useful piece of training equipment !

Good Training tool I used to replace the homemade training tools I already had. Not for beginners as the extra wide handle and higher weight makes for a real grip challenge. You need to get your forum down with lighter clubs before you move onto something heavy. I'm happy with the price for the product as it lets me up the weight so I can just add weight instead of buying heaver maces in 5lb increments. My club with some damage to the finish and something on the inside that rattles and slides around when I swing the club that is a little annoying that I haven't been about it get out.

The 20 pounder that I have (and love) from Incline Fit wasn't such a challenge anymore, so I ordered this instead of the 25-pound mace. I love the fact that I can adjust the weight with sand and avoid having to order a new mace in 5-pound increments for a lot more money.I loaded the mace to 28 pounds and have used it a few times. It is certainly adequate, BUT I wish that the handle was longer like with my Incline Fit maces. I would also like to have the grid grip handles on the shaft as well. For the money, I am pleased, but it could be improved.If you are considering buying a steel mace or kettlebell, DO IT. I have worked out with them for the past year, and they have improved my overall strength while burning fat at the same time. I wish I knew about them years ago.

Just to big, not easy to work with

Love it.Adds a new dimension to my workout. It's more a crossfit device thananythhing else.I loaded mine with sand purchased from one of the local hardware supply stores.The purchase was quite good considering what you get. The handle size is thick making for a great forearm workout and is about 2.5 to 3 feet long, check stats for exact measurement but I think you'll be pleased.The Mace head is about the size of a soccer ball.
