This has always been my favorite panettone however this year has left me searching for a new one. Not only does the quality seem off, not only it is now extremely expensive, but like to many others that purchased this panettone it came all squashed.

This expensive, delicate panettone was shipped in the same package as an approx. 10lb box of dehydrated dog food. The panettone appeared to be beat up. Miraculously the actual product inside had been protected by supports inside the cipriani packaging. If it was a gift, I would’ve returned it bc it looked awful.

I usually order this product every year however, this time around the panettone tasted different, quality has gone down. When I bite into some pieces there’s little hard pieces that crack in my teeth( like a shell or rock?). I’m not sure what that was but I don’t think I will order it again.

Love things Italian! Was expecting something more cake-like, than bread- like .Never the less it was a nice Christmas treat. The wrapping was beautiful.

As I do every year, I tasted various brands of Panettoni, and in my opinion Cipriani’s was the best overall. I would give it a 4.5 starts but not 5 because it did not have the candied orange zest which a true classic panettone should have. I also think it was just a little too sweet. I look forward to tasting next year’s

A lot of butter, I mean a lot. Fragrant and soft at ambient temperature. Very moisty and not overly sweet so the dried fruits act in a beautiful counterpointed Baroque concerto. Vivaldi style. Obviously.

It’s literally as if you are in Italy it’s fresh. It’s amazing oh my God it’s so so good I’m about to eat the entire thing.
