DaVinci Gourmet Sugar-Free Chocolate Syrup, 25.4 Fluid Ounces (Pack of 1)

I know, it's only chocolate flavored syrup, but if you're like me...IKYK!!! I'll say this right off the bat; I am a private/pastry chef who cringes at thought of not using "real" products - full fat, full sugar = full flavor... *Especially when it comes to chocolate ;) Well, at least that's regarding what I feed other people, haha. For me, I am always looking to reduce my fat, sugar, and carb intake. I am also super super sensitive to "artificial" products, and in terms of this particular item, sugar substitutes. I can pick up even the slightest bit of bitterness, chemical, metallic, what have you, taste/aftertaste. I can't tell how how much money I've spent on sugar substitutes in a desperate search to compensate for the loss of my brown sugar in my coffee 🤗 (monkfruit/alluose blend clear winner btw). Even Stevia - yuk. ...and especially Splenda, which is why I was floored at how good this tastes (sucralose). But as I was looking to get a minimum for free delivery, I came across this at a very cheap price and went for it. *I usually go with Choc Zero (monk fruit)- the "Cupcake flavor" is heaven btw. Anyhoos, as previously stated, game changer. Even straight out of the bottle it's pretty dang good. A lovely (and satisfying) chocolate flavor. Admittedly, a very very slight bitter/metallic taste, albeit, tbh, was not dissimilar to that said bitter/metallic taste you get from cocoa powder. So, all good. *I happened to be drinking a cup of coffee at the time it was delivered, so I threw a bit in it, and yyyyummmmie! It's rather sweet, but I think that's a good thing as the level of sweetness is equal to the level of "chocolate" flavor- meaning you don't need a lot. - at least IMO. It's also water thin (which is expected as there is no ingredient that would add viscosity, eg: corn syrup or sugar), so given the concentrated sweetness/flavor, I recommend putting it in a pourtop bottle like I did. *If you don't have one, try a spent honey or ketchup squeeze bottle, for example (I always save mine, lol). Or... just poke a small hole in the safety seal -sorry if the above seems obvious, you'd be surprised how many times I've heard - "I've never thought of that", haha. Anyhoos, after all that long rambling- I highly recommend this product. Can't wait to try it mixed with my (low fat, no sugar) peanut butter powder and spreading on my favorite "Lewis" zero net carbs avocado & seeds keto bread (shout out); as well as trying the sugar free cherry... Chocolate-cherry morning coffee...or martini, yum!😋, take your pick and indulge guilt free!!!

My diabetic sister had to give up her daily mocha until we discovered DaVinci sugar-free syrups. Strong chocolate flavor with just a little syrup and no sickly sweetness. Highly recommend.

I've purchased other flavors by this brand and much like those, this chocolate flavoring is fantastic. Full of chocolate taste and no sugar. I use it pump up sugar free hot chocolate mix. When you must avoid sugar, it's great to find something like this syrup. I will gladly buy it again.

Its ok. Not great tastes like a tootsie roll which is good but not the Chocolate flavor I was looking for.

This product got a 4 because Amazon is crediting my account. For this syrup it is a 0! It not thick like syrup and taste terrible.

I sought this out after visiting some friends in Massachusetts and trying Polar Fudge Soda. It's not always available from Polar, and it's only ever available in the North East. I live in Virginia, so I'm to far south. This syrup with your soda stream is the closest thing I could find. I love it. Tastes like a tootsie roll. Grateful this product exists!

Use it for a sugar free alternative to make drinks. A small (~half of a tablespoon) is great for a tall glass (~24 oz) of chocalate milk. Can use for coffee too.

Good price for a large 25 ounce coffee syrup, especially a sugar-free option. It is sweetened with Sucralose, but beware. To my taste buds it was very bitter and I had to add Splenda.
