The frames are fine. The wood is not slick and polished, more raw wood looking. But easy to install photos.

The idea is great but the build quality sucks. -the wood is made from pine and both of my frames came with chips and nicks and it stands out like a sore thumb because the area is no longer matching the stain -the dowel pin/pegs are too short and the moment you rotate it it pops out of the socket and falls apart -the frame glass is sharp -the frame itself is large and eats up a lot of the picture space In order to make this frame functional it requires post processing that the manufacturer didn’t do. I had to restain the frame so it didn’t look like junk and had to remove the spring so it wouldn’t push the pin out of socket the moment you touch it. That being said it’s extremely tedious and doesn’t function as expected. Save your money and don’t buy it.

These are great frames. It took a little to figure out how to open it, but it’s actually fairly easy and look great. Perfect gift “grand baby” photos

First off, I bought the wrong size and that's on me. Needed 5x7, purchased 4x6. The product itself is EXACTLY what you would expect for the price. Comes fully assembled and simple to figure out how to put a photo in. It's nicer in the picture than in person. It has good weight but you can tell it's cheaply made in how the wood is joined, how it's finished, and how the swivel point was executed. It's wooden pegs that nest onto holes drilled in the inside of the frame; pretty standard. However, while one hole was actually drilled and a spring placed inside, the other was drilled off center and it was corrected by someone just scraping a new divot where the hole was supposed to be.
