I put this little heater in my outdoor cathouse for strays. Before I put the heater in it had a heated pad and the temperature was 34 degrees F. For reference the cat house has a doorway with plastic strips covering it and a wooden escape door (the escape door doesnt let much air pass through but the plastic strips covering the front door does). With the heater, it is now a cozy 65.5 degrees Fahrenheit on the 200 watt setting. It's perfect and works great. I mounted it to the wall in the cat house and since it's pretty small it doesn't take up a lot of room which is great. This is a great little heater for an outdoor cathouse. It's only my first day using it but it made a huge difference in the warmth of the cat house. With the addition of this heater, its now a lovely, warm home for a neighborhood cat-friend in need. :)

What a great little heater. I put it in my greenhouse to keep my plants warm during the cold nights. My greenhouse is about 7x3x3 feet. It works great. It shuts off automatically when it reaches 78 degrees and turn back on if it gets colder than 68. Perfect temperature for my plants. Love it

It works fine. However dog house heater means dog house heater. Inside a dog house where the dog will lie I suppose. I bought it for kennel that is total enclosed and insulated but it wasn't effective in very cold weather so depends on conditions and placement. Not a powerful heater

The fan on this is very weak. Even when on the high setting I could hold my hand up to it and it was not putting out much of any heat. Did nothing to warm my chicken coop. Might work for a dog house but nothing much bigger than that.

Purchased four of these to prevent snow buildup on the roof of my greenhouse. Have them set at 200W, spaced three feet apart, mounted on a beam, three feet from the ceiling. They work perfectly and as a bonus, the greenhouse remains at about 70 degrees no matter how cold it is outside. The best feature, IMHO, is the fact that the heat automatically toggles on and off, dependent upon the temperature, but the fan remains on.

My dog loves this!! The heater is compact, I hung it in my dogs insulated dog house, the dog house is pretty big, 4 ft x 4ft x 3 ft, it kept the house warm in 20 degree weather. It’s quiet and the housing of the heater doesn’t get hot. It seems to be built pretty solid, good value for the money, easy to hang. I can’t speak to longevity, I’ve only had it for a few weeks.

I purchased this for a outside Cat house. I hooked it up with a timer that went on every other hour. It works perfectly to warm an outside cat or dog house in the winter.
