I'm a flight attendant and have used packing bags and cubes for ages now.Although nothing beats compression cubes for space-saving reasons, these bags have replaced the previous shoe and laundry bags that I'd been using.I love that they are see through enough so if packing more than one pair of shoes, you can tell at a glance, what shoe is in the bag.I'm not sure if you've noticed, but many flight attendants change their shoes inflight. I wear medium height heels off the airplane, but change into support work flats once I'm on the airplane. This bag is great for holding which ever pair I'm not wearing at the time. For that purpose, this bag gets used regularly and often. So far, it's held up beautifully.They are also a great texture of plastic. They're not crispy or stiff at all, so they pack and smoosh down in size easily. They are thicker than ordinary grocery store bags, but don't take up as much space as cloth bags.They're water proof too, so there's no worry about sticking anything that might be damp in them either.They do just drawstring closed though, so they're definitely not watertight.I've already given a bunch to fellow crew members and everyone loves them.

I was not expecting much from these bags but was pleasantly surprised!The plastic is thicker than I had expected and it does not make static (an issue with previous bags). The drawstrings are easy to pull and strong as well. I am purchasing more to use with small items around the house and things I need to pack for storage. I recommend these bags!

I bought these to put my extra shoes/and sandals in that I don’t want to keep in the shoeboxes. These bags are perfect ! The drawstring works great and I like how they’re see through so I can see what shoes /sandals are in them without opening the bag.

These aren’t as translucent as I was hoping but they get the job done. I will probably write w sharpie what shoes are in the bags so I can them easier
