Best you can get
Le Creuset lots and pans are, in my humble opinion, about the best you can buy. Expensive, yes, but also easy to use, easy to clean, stylist and it just oozes quality.Nice touch here was the recipe book which gave some good ideas and having done the apple tart I can tell you it came out a treat! The style of this pan makes it very easy to cook and then flip it over. Looks lovely!

fantastic product and ultra quick delivery
Researched this in depth. Needed one that works on both induction hob and gas. This one does nicely for both. Tarte Tatin came out perfectly. Looking forward to non stick omelettes now too. really like the detailed instructions and recipe leaflet. Quality product and definitely worth the money. Speed of the delivery and packaging was fantastic. (Shipping UK to Germany and all.)Thank you.

YESS!!! Burble, Burble!!! Yum, Yum!!!
I've just used this dish for the first time. I have other Tatin dishes but none comes up to the standard of this one, it is, simply, THE BEST there is. Usual Le Creuset standard of craftmanship which means this dish can be used for other cooking needs thus extending its' value. The larger handles are a bonus when turning out the Tatin which other tins lack. I wholeheartedly recommend this dish and wish I'd not waited so long before buying mine. I used about six dessert apples packed tightly but the number varies with size of fruit. Will be trying out other fruits as time goes on. A good alternative to cake I think.

Wonderful Tarte Tatin Dish
OK, I love to be in the kitchen cooking whilst listening to music.I really like to eat a good desert, of course tarte tatin is one of my favorites. For a long time I had struggled to make this dish without a dish designed to do the job and I had improvised using other cookware items. Some pans/dishes were fairly sucessful, others less so. I kept loosing some of the caramelised sauce.I was searching for any French dish designed for the oven and discovered that Le Creuset manufactured one. I bought it and it is just the thing. I love it.

Beautiful Le Creuset!
Always difficult to know if Le Creuset is value for money as you pay such a premium. But it is the best, and a pleasure to own and use. Bought this to make Tarte Tatin and it worked perfectly.

Beautiful quality dish makes a great tatin
I have used this tatin dish a few times now to make Gluten Free Apple Tarte Tatin. This is using the recipe from Grace Cheetam's book also purchased on Amazon The Best Gluten-Free, Wheat-Free & Dairy-Free Recipes: More Than 100 Mouth-watering Recipes for All the Family. The dish sits perfectly flat on our ceramic stove and is easy to manouvre and flip when the time comes.I thank previous reviewers for their comments & photos, and will attach a couple of mine also.

Excellent quality
This came quickly and is of excellent quality - did my first Tarte Tatin and it worked wonderfully. I could have used any shallow casserole dish of course but wouldn't maybe have got the same outer crispness that this gave.

Arrived with chipped handles (despite undamaged box)
I ordered the same product from John Lewis @ £115, but it arrived chipped (they refunded the cost and the dish was returned). Ordered a replacement on Amazon the next day @ £78.56 but it's arrived with the exact same fault - chipped handles with the chips in the bottom of the undamaged box. I wonder if this is a batch problem? Some of the paintwork on handles was also flawed. Have a few Le Creuset casserole dishes and never had this poor quality before. Disappointing
