Seems to have worked within a day. I had washing machine odor coming from the pipe that drains the water from the machine hose. No more odor. I just dropped a Green Gobler stick down the pipe and in about 24 hours I felt like if there was a buildup of nasty stuff, it was gone. Now I'm going to use a washing machine cleaner tablet & next month I'll drop another Green Gobler stick down the drain pipe which should take care of any odor problems.

After using one of these sticks in each of our drains, we saw significant difference in drain flies and fruit flies in our kitchen and bathrooms. I highly recommend this product if you are having an issue with either of these two flies.

It works just take time you will see a few but for the most part it get rid of the majority.

Update:After about two months of using this, I’m not sold on its overall effectiveness. I used it in several places. In my bar, which develops film and odors - it did great. The drain rarely clogs but it gets constant drip from the ice well and this really helped keep it odor free and running smoothly. In my kitchen sink, which never has clogged, I’ve still been using this here just preemptively so the jury is out on the verdict how effective it is there. The bathroom sink hasn’t clogged completely but these haven’t really done much other than keeping it moving, albeit slowly. The shower drain hasn’t really been affected positively or negatively. It’s just as slow as ever. I know both of these drains see a fair amount of hair and soap, which this should be breaking down. I guess they haven’t stopped entirely, however they haven’t kept things flowing as smoothly as I had hoped/expected. I normally hit them with some draino once a month but I haven’t as I was willing to be patient and let these do their magic. I wanted a more eco/pipe friendly solution but… It just doesn’t seem to be doing what I need it to do in these instances.I don’t trust most chemical drain cleaners because I rent and I don’t want to have to potentially foot a bill on repair (though that’s never happened, but hypothetically it’s possible). A lot of hair goes down my bathroom drains and they tend to run very slowly. Popped one in the sink and on day one it’s already moving better. Put one in the shower and haven’t seen any improvement yet but I imagine it will. The sticks are scent less so they don’t smell up the place when I’m using the sinks, and they seem they’re going to do what I need them to do. They’re definitely cheaper than getting corrosive chemicals I’ve been buying about once a month, and I love the set it and forget it philosophy. I’ll update in a month and we’ll see where we’re at.

I put one of these in every drain and toilet tank in my house once a month to keep smells away and clogs be gone.

Perfect for the toilet tank, helps with the odor and breakdown of any hard water deposits. Does not harm the flap like the bleach tank tablets.

Have used these for over a year, they seem to keep the drain clear and take away any bad smell.

I've used these before and bought more because they seem to help with the drains.
