I didn't realize how much I needed this CIDETTY laptop screen extender until I started using it. The 14" FHD IPS panels are crisp, bright, and perfect for multitasking. Setup was genuinely plug-and-play - USB-C worked instantly with my MacBook and the HDMI option connected smoothly to my Windows laptop. The build quality surprised me: ultra-thin, lightweight, and sturdy enough to travel with. I use one screen for dashboards and the other for documents, and it's transformed how I work on the go. The speakers are a nice bonus for quick calls or videos. If you want a portable dual/triple-monitor setup that actually delivers, this is absolutely worth it. Five stars without hesitation.

This is the first time I'm bought a screen extender for my 14" yoga laptop and I can't believe how wonderful it turned out. First of all, installing it is so quick and easy. It comes with many cables, so you dont have to worry about what kind of port you have. It supports both type c as well as traditional usb ports. The stand it screen sturdy, so it doesn't fall or move at all. In fact, because of the stand, most of the load is taken off of the screen. The screen display itself is bright and colorful, it's as good as any other premium laptop screen you buy. Most importantly, ny productivity has increased tremendously. It's highly recommend if you have a small screen and need more displays with less space on your desk.

I have been using the CIDETTY screen extender for a few days now and it has completely transformed how I work when I am away from my desk. My wife has been using a different model for a year and she convinced me that i need to try a travel monitor system so after I did a bit of research I found this. Setup was dead simple - just plug in via two USB-C cables and it is ready to go, no drivers or software needed. The 1080P IPS display looks pretty sharp and vibrant, with wide viewing angles that make it easy to glance at reference material or keep a second window open without squinting. I kind of wish it was 4k in retrospect but I wouldn't pay more just for that. The slim profile is what really won me over. It barely adds any weight to my bag and feels like a natural extension of my laptop rather than a clunky add-on. The built-in speakers are a nice bonus I was not expecting to actually use, but they get the job done for video calls and the occasional YouTube break. I love that it comes with a carry case and that my wif we is jealous of the way this one clips to your laptop to stay secure, unlike hers which just rests as a stationary stand behind your laptop. Also, hers requires 4 cables whereas this was powered by only the 2 cables. I'll be taking this on a work trip where it will greatly improve my work-from-hotel productivity. Whether you are a remote worker, a student, or just someone who wants more screen real estate without being tethered to a desk, this monitor delivers. Highly recommend it.

If it doesn't, you may need to use the included HDMI and USB cables instead. The only minor downside is that adding a second screen increases the weight of your laptop setup, so it's not quite as portable as using the laptop by itself. However, the productivity gains are well worth the tradeoff. Wow.!! Super excited as this is my first time ever using multiple screens for work. I've never used even monitors before so for me this feels like a breath of fresh sweet air! The setup was much simpler than I expected. After connecting the cables, the screens were recognized right away and I was able to extend my desktop without much effort. You have multile cables provided to suit your connections and you can choose whichever you want. You have 2 USB -A to C, 2 USB C-C & 1 HDMI to USB -C cables that are more than enough for older laptops with Usb -A ports and also newer models with only the Usb-c ports. I'm super sensitive from the brightness through an LCD screen and that's the reason why I never got myself external monitors and was also skeptical on buying this one but I was pleasanty surprised by the display quality. The screens are bright, clear, and more than sharp enough. The anti glare is of top notch quality and I can comfortably use the extension screens at high level brighness. Infact so much better than my work laptop as I always work on the lowest brightness levels. I also loved how the whole unit folds up neatly and comes with a carrying case, making it easy carry in my bag. One thing I was concerned about was whether it would feel flimsy, but it actually feels fairly solid once attached to the laptop. The built-in kickstand helps keep everything stable during use. Since I've never used multiple screens, my multi tasking at work was tedious and I'd forgotten how much now that I've experienced these. I'm just loving the feeling of how convenient my work has now become. For the first time I'm super excited to join work back on Monday lol! Thank you Amazon for this amazing product! Pros: Makes a single laptop screen into a triple monitor setup Cons: Extremely top heavy. I was concerned it might break my screen or laptop hinge due to the way it clamps the laptop display. Bulky. Carrying this around would be like having a second laptop. Not very light either. Bad Displays. My $50 portable monitor I bought over a year ago looks way better than either monitor. They don't get super bright either, but they're good enough. The connections. This was by far the worst one for me. I did not have 2 USB-C capable of video output. They do include an HDMI method, which did work. The mess of wires, however, was something out of a horror movie. I would not buy this unless you have 2 USB-C ports capable of video output. Overall, I would probably avoid this and go with another option. I bought this on a whim for a work trip, and I ended up not using due to the hassle to get it working. In my opinion, a better solution would be 2 portable monitors, or even better, the triple laptop screens that do not clip on to the laptop. Update 11/23/25 CIDETTY has reached out to me and explained that the newer model fixes some of my complaints listed here. While I have not tested it, I have been told that the new model requires only 1 HDMI cord instead of an HDMI cord + USB-C, as listed for this product review. If the above is true, I believe that that is the superior product and will remove a good chunk of my complaints here (cord mess, laptop compatibility, etc.). CIDETTY support was also kind enough to try and walk me through my issues and offered the newer model at no cost. Since my use case for this triple monitor setup has past, I declined the offer, to which they provided a refund with no questions asked. I am bumping up the review 2 stars. 1 for the excellent customer service, and 1 for the new model which fixes these issues. With that said, I would 100% recommend that anyone go with the newer version to avoid the many issues I had with this model.

I was a bit skeptical about how bulky this would be, but it’s actually super slim and fits right into my bag. Setting up takes less then a minute —literally just plug and play with the USB-C cables. ​The screens are bright, crisp, and make multitasking so much easier when I'm away from my desk. If you travel a lot, this is absolutely worth the money. Highly recommend!
