Watch out when drilling
Really nice and sturdy and fits the Rivian great.Don’t make the mistake I did - because the bed has a plastic-y liner, I assumed I had to drill another layer deeper to get to metal, so after drilling the outer layer, I drilled into the next layer a couple of inches in. But outer layer of course is metal (under the surface liner) and more than enough to support the screws.I hope I didn’t damage anything?

Easy to install
Directions and templates were spot on. I was a little hesitant to drill a couple holes in my new truck, but the templates were spot on and the extender works ( and looks ) great

Good fit
Purchased for my hisbands r1t. It's a good fit and easy to use. Assembly was not easy but it was still a 1 man job.

Awesome idea
This product is one of those things that you don’t know that you need until you have it once you have it you’ll always need it. It’s pretty awesome just to have the extra extension from the trunk.

Sturdy. Easy to assemble and use
You will need to drill some holes in your truck to attach this, but that seems to be true of all such bed extenders. This is a good looking, well made item. Assembly was a piece of cake, and installation wasn't difficult.

Great Fit - Lightweight - Strudy
This Truck Bed Extender works great in my Rivian R1T. It is well made and sturdy. It was easy to assemble and install. It is definitely very functional and convenient to have - makes it easier to move larger items as well as flip inside to keep smaller items contained.

The right design
I have had bed extenders of all kinds on all of my trucks. I'll never not have one. I think they are essential, especially if you own a short bed pickup. Many of them can be oddly shaped and I question the engineer's thinking when they designed them. This one is just how it should be built: The corners are rounded out to the correct angle to allow for the most usable extended space, It's aluminum construction is lightweight yet strong, and the hardware quality is durable and creates smooth operation for swinging into the bed and onto the tail gate. This is the extender to get, and far cheaper than from a dealer.
