So let's get the actual review part of out the way. I have bought the heavy flow of this brand and I love them so without using the pantiliners I just ordered, I know they will get the job done. Super absorbant and when used with a menstrual cup they are wonderful. Comfortable and easy to clean. They don't slide as long as you don't wear really loose pants AND loose underwear. I've been wanting to get the pantiliners for a good long while and finally bought them. I recommend these pads to everyone. Actual functionality is the reason this is 5 stars. That being said.... Now to the title of this review. I'm gonna start with the obvious "No one sees these but you" Uh... no... other people do see them. I keep them folded up in my purse, they are sitting on the shelf directly above my toilet, these are in my laundry baskets. So no... not the only one that sees these. Y'all.... made some really poor PUL decisions here. Let's start with the first one pictured. Did you REALLY? Put desserts and the actual WORD dessert... on a PAD? I can't say enough how very little I feel like dessert at my time of the month. I mean if my husband wants to look at me like dessert at LITERALLY any other time of the month that is fantastic, please.... feel free to consume. That being said, while the liquid coming out of me when I'm actually using these does not look that different to the liquid in that glass. I would highly recommend not consuming that. And... mushrooms? Really? Fungus.... Who came up with that one? And why did no one step in to interject? Mushrooms... on a vagina... No wheels turned? Really? I mean it's a cute pattern and all but, that's right up there next to putting fish on one... And while floral prints are nice. Who sat down and said "Here! Let's put flower patterns on these that ONLY women who no longer need to use these will like." At least you guys got it down with the storage bag....

Personally I try my best to avoid nonreuseable period products, so this was an excellent addition to my life. I use menstrual cups so that plus this really helps me feel a lil more better about my period, as well as reducing as much toilet paper, pad, and pad packaging waste as much as possible. However I am not a big period cup pro, so I leak the SMALLEST amount, so this gives me the convenience of not having to constantly stain my underwear over small stains. To get to the more *detailed stuff; I do notice an odor while I am using it on my period. Which is completely normal; happens when you are suffocating your genitals with blood and no oxygen to be fair, but this product did advertise having odor fighting thingamcbobs in it but regardless odor will come out and it will be normal; of course just remember to replace the panty liner at the end of the day and hand wash it in the sink. For most of my underwears, this adheres to them pretty well and does not slip! With the small minority that does shift, it may turn upside down or go all the way up my buttcrack. I am assuming you all wear normal underwear on your period so you would probbaly rarely have this problem, but I will just advise if you are wearing plain victoria secret/pink underwear with this, it will flip and slip in your underwear (but tbh, there are rarely any situations where you would be wearing sexy underwear with this product; i only did because I ran out of underwear) Overall good product definitely reccommend and the cons were just minor inconveniences that could easily be avoid with comfortable cotton underwear and good hygiene and routine.

Overall, I am happy with this product. But, I have some things to say about it, as well. Let's get into it! First, the pros - it's super comfortable, and doesn't feel like I'm wearing a diaper when I have these on! It does absorb pretty decently, and because they are reusable I don't "theoretically" have to purchase single-use pads again. Further, there's no smell (I hope this isn't too TMI lol!) I always thought "period smell" was from having my period, not the pads that I was using. So, that was a big shocker, and now I really enjoy the fact that I don't feel like I stink the entire time I'm menstruating. Last, they wash well enough. I've put them through the laundry a few times and have had no issues! Alright, for the cons - because they are dark in color, it's hard to tell just how much it's absorbing - or even - how much I'm bleeding. Not usually an issue, except for wanting to know if I'm close to the end of my period based on flow. So, that was the only thing I realized I couldn't identify while wearing these. That might also be frustrating for anyone who has heavier flow or heavier flow days and are trying to decide if they need to use a new one soon or not. Also, they slide, a lot. Even though they have the buttons to clip in the wings, these never stay in place and I feel like I'm constantly rearranging them because of that. They are also pretty slim and short. During the day this isn't as troublesome, but at night this would be a no-go. I not only need something that's going to stay firmly in place at night, but I need something longer and wider. That's why before I mentioned the word "theoretically" wouldn't have to buy single-use, because unfortunately I still do. I will say, I would recommend buying these still because they are eco-friendly, and all the pros are great pros! But, just be mindful that they won't be the perfect solution to our period needs!

I'm not gonna lie, last year I didn't see myself reviewing resuable pads online. But let me say, I have been converted to the reusable pads. I could go on about the environment, the Zero Waste opportunities, yada yada. And I think those points are valid. But let me convince you that these are great for selfish, non-planetary reasons. They're stupid absorbant. Heavy days for me, I can easily go through six plus standard pads. But these bad boys, maybe three max. I use the longer 14 inch ones for nighttime. With the single use ones, I've had way too many nights where I wake up in the morning and the pad literally did not provide enough coverage. I have not once had that issue with these ones. They are so absorbant they will not fail you. They are much more comfortable. You know those moments where the sticky part of the wings gets stuck in your buttcrack? (A nasty but necessary sentence.) NEVER is that a problem with these ones. There's nothing sticky to get stuck to. A nice little plastic snap keeps it in place and it's a sturdy little clip that I haven't ever had come loose on me. But on the same token, it's not a struggle to unsnap it to get it ready for the wash. Plus, sitting on this, even on your period, is like sitting on a cloud. Not to be dramatic or anything but they are super comfy, even in undies. They're easy to transport. They come with a cute little wet bag, so all you have to do when you've used one is rinse it out in the sink, fold it up, and put it in the bag. Throw it in the wash at home. Simple as that. And, of course, you're not throwing more stupid bloody paper cotton pads in growing landfields. For me, at least, this is a giant bonus. I absolutely recommend these. Not just for Zero Waste, but for very selfish reasons as well. I mean, who doesn't want comfy undies during the "best" time of the month?

I’ve tried literally every period product out there from single use pads to tampons to cups to menstrual undies and now reusable pads. Bought these since they were the cheapest ones out there. I figured if they didn’t work I’ll only be out $8. They do work but only to a certain extent. For example it’s not as absorbent as a regular pad (imo anyway). The bamboo is there to catch the blood but instead of absorbing it all on the liner it will run in weird directions and then leaked to the sides. It doesn’t stay in place very well as most have mentioned but it’s to be expected so I just readjust when I use the bathroom. Washes out easily so no issues there. I don’t love these but I don’t hate it either so it’s meh but I probably won’t buy again. I have issues with period panties not absorbing either so I think my flow is too heavy and comes on too fast that it doesn’t have time to absorb before it leaks to the sides.

I have had these for a year and they are marvelous. My favourite thing has to be that I don’t need to budget for pads anymore. I have one pack of six and have been debating a second pack for forever but haven’t grabbed them yet. They absorb super well. They leak about as often as a normal pad so if you know your heavier days you can easily be prepared. I pair them with period underwear and that does it for me - I’m protected. They don’t collect odor and clean super easily. Two of my pack have white based patterns and when I saw them I thought, “eek, those two will stain fast”, but h to my have been great. When I’m traveling, I seal used pads in a plastic bag until I can wash them somewhere and on my recent all-day travel excursions they haven’t collected odor despite being sealed for a day and a half or so. Is that enough details? I love them. Still considering my second bag.

I have been using cloth liners and pads (in my home) for the past decade at least. I only reorder when I want to go longer between washes. I think I've had one snap break in the last 10 years. I use the larger pads when I'm on my cycle, and liners every other day of the month, so I'm always wearing something. I just like being able to change them throughout the day after using the bidet to feel really clean. When I am going to leave the house to exercise or do a lot of walking, activity etc, I'll usually use disposable products. I only use cloth when at home, or if I'm off my cycle and going to see a movie or have dinner or do something that is less activity. I work from home, so it's really great for me. CLEANING ROUTINE: This is key! Do not follow the directions!! As a long-time cloth diaper mama, these directions will cause the fibers in the material to become clogged with soap, and you'll have a harder time removing stains and odor. Here is how it's done: STEP ONE: When you take them off, put them in a wet bag or folded by your shower. When you take a shower, which should be at least once a day on your cycle, spray them down and rinse/wring out until the water becomes clear and you don't see any stains. Do not use soap for this step. Hang or put outside to dry. Once they are dry, put them in your laundry bag. I use an old zippered pillowcase cover inside my hamper to keep them separated. STEP TWO: When your laundry bag is full, or you run out of pads, wash on HIGH HEAT, sanitize cycle, with a very SMALL amount of natural detergent free from dyes or fragrance. You are essentially stripping it. The hot water will sanitize, as will the sun later (if you have sun). Using too much detergent will give you the opposite effect. STEP THREE: Hang to dry in the sun. They all link together nicely to form a chain you can throw over a line or whatever. This has a bleaching/sanitizing effect. I always try to do my sanitize wash on a sunny day. Not hard where I live, thankfully! After this process they should be like new every time! The more of these things you have, the less often you do a sanitize wash, the more effective your wash will be, and the longer they'll last.

I made the switch to reusable pads + period undies over quarantine and I’ve got to say these are pretty good for those last like 2-3 days of my (usually 7 day) period when I’m not bleeding enough to warrant having a full pad on but also need to have something there to catch the residual blood. These are too small and also not well designed enough for heavier days since they’re stitched all the way through all layers and therefore if your flow is heavy then the blood will likely soak through the stitching and you’ll leak. But as mentioned earlier, they’re perfect for the last few light days. I like pairing them with period undies just in case they move out of place because these smaller ones do tend to slip further down if I’m moving around a lot (unlike the bigger heavy flow ones of the same brand- love those, they stay perfectly in place and are great on heavy flow days) but also because although I technically could just wear period undies by themselves, I feel like having these small reusable pads on helps keep things cleaner since its a lot easier to just switch a slightly soiled mini pad out for a fresh one than it is to have to switch out your entire pair of period undies since when you wash those it tends to take a long time to dry them (since you need to hang dry all of these reusable period products to keep them in good condition for longer) and it doesn’t feel justifiable to constantly swap out your entire underwear on your light days considering the long wait time to dry. That’s why it makes way more sense to use these small pads instead so you could switch them out every couple hours, just remember they might move around so I recommend pairing them with period underwear just in case. Since these are used for my lighter days for residual blood instead of a heavier flow, I usually don’t need to soak them or do a pre-wash by hand like I need to do with the bigger heavier duty ones. Just tossing these straight into the washing machine is good enough and then I just hang them to dry and they dry pretty quickly since they’re so thin. I haven’t had to use the wet bag yet since I’m pretty much home all the time due to the pandemic, but I do think its a pretty good size, so there’s that.
