Can I buy a standard 3’x16’ shade to fit a pergola that is 13’ in length? Tight budget and custom is out of my price point.

Did you end up purchasing? If so, how did it turn out? I have a 14’ pergola and I’m looking at the standard size, but I’m worried that there will be too much of a dip.

I have a tight vertical clearance. When the fabric is retracted what are the dimensions-from the top of the carabiner to the bottom of the pleats?

Approximately 15 to 16 inches from the top of the cable to the bottom pleat when retracted on a 7 x 24 foot shade.

Do the wire cables need to be more or less level, or can there be a 15" vertical variance across the width of the shade (not the length)?

Probably not. The cloth slides in the slightest wind if not anchored at both ends.

Can this be attached to something other than a pergola?

Yes we attached it to a wall and fence. You can put it up in a lot of different ways
