This item fits 3.5" paring knives regardless of brand. I use one for my expensive Shun paring knife, and one for my inexpensive Mercer paring knife. Both knives are listed at 3 1/2" blade length. The guard does not fall loose.I do not have room on my countertop for a wooded block to hold my knives. My knives need to be able to be tossed into a drawer. This guard really protects the edge from banging against other items in the drawer and creating flaws.

It's a nice sleeve for a knife. Unfortunately my pairing knife is a little to wide for the cover. But it did fit my sister's pairing knife.

They fit snug and are very protective.

Purchased these for a bird's beak knife and 3" paring knife. They stay on but they're not a good fit. It usually takes me a couple of tries flipping the sleeve to get the knife positioned firmly. The solid felt-lined sleeves work better for me.

I bought paring knives at a local store and want to put some in my camp kitchen so need to protect them. I ordered these and they work great. They are well made and fit these knives perfectly. The fit is snug and doesn't slide off, but not so tight that the get stuck. I just ordered a larger size for my other knives.

I use these to cover my desk drawer paring knife at work. I eat fruit at my desk and I need a very sharp knife for apples, kiwi, etc.... This model fit my Victorinox paring knives perfectly. Cleans easy too.
