Brilliant tool
I’ve tried a few different cheapish ones and this has by far been the best so far, accurate and strong crimp on mc4. There’s a YouTube video made by Staubli that describes the process perfectly for a good crimp everytime

If you need one, buy this one
A well made tool for crimping solar mc4 connectors. It was a pleasure to use and see the professional result on 6 mm cable. I have only used it about 20 times but I expect it to last as the build quality is good.

Amazing quality
These are a quality pair of mc4 crimpers I've been installing solar for ten years and have much experience with making these connections off and i have to say I've never found a crimped i liked up until know these are amazingly good.

Better Quality for only a little more.
This is a nice crimper. You can tell by the machining on the jaws is smooth and seem wider than some. I just used it on several MC4 crimps on 10 guage solar cables and worked great. Glad I spent a couple more dollars on these.

Crimpen von Kabeln > 1mm² ist praktisch nicht möglich. Die Verbindungen halten nicht. Extremer Kraft-Aufwand zum Crimpen ist nötig. Nicht wirklich verwendbar.

Great crimps on MC4 Solar Connectors
I'm very happy with this ratcheting crimp tool! It makes VERY tight connections between the cables and the connectors. In the past, I've usually soldered these connectors on, but this thing crimps so tight, I don't really feel the need for that, except perhaps for some hard to get to MC4 connections up on the roof which might get some pretty rough wind and weather treatment on top of our RV. I may still solder those after crimping...but that may be over-kill.
