Not as described
Extremely watery with a slight butterscotch finish. The smell takes over the room and is not inviting does not smell good. I tried it neat and on the rocks both ways terrible. The description is so inviting but the taste is the complete opposite. I'm a scotch drinker and expected something slightly close. This is a product that makes you wonder have they tasted this before sending it out to the public. This has made question other non alcoholic beverages. The packaging is great bottle looks like a scotch bottle but what's inside the bottle is terrible. Please save your money this way not worth it and will make you want the real thing to cleanse the pallet.

Whiskey without the Bite
Taste is a subjective thing; I will not attempt to describe the flavor profile of the product other than to indicate that it does indeed taste like a scotch. Instead, I'll speak as a person who loves all aspects of whiskey-- both the flavor and the burn-- but who had to abandon alcohol for my health. My expectations for this product were low. I love whiskey immensely, and I once even took pride in such things like an ability to roughly estimate the mash bill of a whiskey after a few sips. But this product has no mash bill. It is not a whiskey. It's an imitation. With this is mind, I ask only for an approximation. Something to remind me of the feeling of drinking after a long day of work, but without any of the risks associated with alcohol. This product does (almost) exactly that. It tastes enough like a whiskey to enjoy with just a little ice and to forget that it is not liquor in my hand, but a harmless substitute. That said, I personally appreciate the burn of alcohol. This product delivers zero burn, and thus doesn't really feel like drinking whiskey without a little modification. I find that spices such as red pepper (and the stuff used in products like Ritual's tequila) do a poor job as those linger in a way unlike ethanol. But I find that some ginger extract helps to roughly approximate the alcohol burn that I still love. So I always mix a bit of that in my drink. Wonderful product. I hope whiskey substitutes like this one continue to be produced. Perhaps one day we'll get one that gives the same sort of bite that alcohol does . But until then, this is will be my standby.

Tasteless
No taste. Colored water. Very noticeable difference even adding it to a mixer

If want the kick and FLAVOR of scotch look elsewhere
Not sure if the statement saying Glen Dochus is a non- alcoholic scotch beverage needs to taste some Johnny Walker. I'm not claiming to have the most sophisticated taste but this tastes more like chocolate milk than scotch.

Not Scotch!
What a disappointment! This has an awful smell & odd taste. I have tried everything to doctor it up & it will never taste like a real scotch. It contains preservatives & a "caramel color". Inexpensive ingredients for a not so cheap price tag. Never again. Why is it so hard to get something that tastes like a real drink?

Delicious
Glen Dochus has successfully redefined the non-alcoholic whiskey landscape with its exceptional offering. As a connoisseur of fine spirits who appreciates the nuances of a well-crafted whiskey, I was intrigued to discover how Glen Dochus could deliver a delicious experience without alcohol. The attention to detail in the packaging, complete with a nod to the classic Scottish whiskey aesthetic, added a touch of authenticity to the overall experience. The first sip of Glen Dochus was a revelation. The complexity of flavors mirrored that of its alcoholic counterparts, showcasing a harmonious blend of smokiness, subtle peat, and a delightful undertone of caramel. What impressed me most was the absence of the sharp burn associated with alcohol – instead, a smooth and warming sensation enveloped my palate, leaving behind a lingering, satisfying, and nuanced sweetness. Glen Dochus' commitment to using premium ingredients was evident in every aspect of the non-alcoholic whiskey. The carefully selected botanicals, the meticulous crafting process, and the dedication to replicating the essence of traditional whiskey demonstrated a level of craftsmanship that deserves applause. This attention to quality shines through, making Glen Dochus a standout choice in the world of non-alcoholic beverages. Versatility is another key strength of Glen Dochus. Whether enjoyed neat to savor the full spectrum of flavors, over ice for a refreshing twist, or as a base for sophisticated mocktails, this non-alcoholic gem holds its own in diverse settings. It effortlessly caters to the discerning tastes of those who seek an alcohol-free alternative without compromising on the authenticity and richness of a true whiskey experience. Glen Dochus has not only met but exceeded expectations for a non-alcoholic whiskey. If you're in search of a non-alcoholic whiskey that delivers on taste, sophistication, and versatility, Glen Dochus is undoubtedly a top contender.

Scotch?
This product does mot taste like scotch. It has a somewhat pleasant flavor but will not satisfy one’s need for a scotch substitute. Also, more costly.

Tastes like butterscotch candy
I really wanted to like this because its from Scotland and had a cool bottle, so I was quite primed to like it. And then, yeah, the taste. I'm not sure if whoever invented this has ever had a whisky. Whisky has heather and honey and salt and smoke and it has a bite. This stuff tastes like a butterscotch candy from you grandmothers purse that is sweat and generally good but also has a strange funk to it. Like butterscotch mixed with a rather aged orange and maybe some purse lint. I get we're ten years out, at least, from creating anything palatable and resembling whisky, so good first effort I suppose, and please keep trying because this is not the end point.

Not what I expected
A lot of money for a nice bottle, the cap was damaged and stains in the threads, maybe that’s why the taste is off, certainly not a scotch taste. Would it even taste like scotch otherwise???
