We purchased to take with us when we travel to ck pool temps. Easy to pack and works quickly and easy to read. This is our second one, we accidentally left it once - so I would recommend it! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Love it, wish I’d bought one sooner. I don’t have to fish my thermometer out of the water to read it anymore, the numbers are big enough to read without bending over. Don’t even need my reading glasses. I’ve had it for several months and it’s held up well, I wasn’t sure it would. And it’s more accurate than some of the cheap thermometers I’ve used in the past. It has an on/off switch but I never turn it off since it’s solar powered, but the display is always visible, even hours after dark. I guess the flash from my camera made the display unreadable, but trust me, it reads 49.3 degrees.

Stopped working after a few months. Only shows Celsius and not Fahrenheit. The glass fogs and can't read temp most of the time. I would not recommend.

Ordered it in December and it stopped working by August . (I live in Florida so the pool is always open) when it worked it was great!

This pool themometer's design is sleek and it works great so far. I like that it's solar and waterproof, also that it registers .5 degrees as well. The attached string may not last well in clorinated water, as our last one didn't, but when it breaks, we just use a coated cord of some sort. Overall, a good pick.

Easy to read display, accurate thermometer, floats and won't get into the filter because of its size

Was nervous about the quality, but has held up incredibly well! The string could use some reinforcement or replacement, as it ended up weakening and breaking, but the device floats freely without issue, and displays the temp easily and accurately.

Biggest question on everyone's mind is not politics, but rather what temp is the pool today. Yep, this works perfectly and lets us know when the pool in Phoenix is ready to jump in.
