My New Go-To!
This diameter is perfect for precision work โ thin enough for fine-pitch components and SMD soldering, but still has enough mass to handle slightly larger joints without needing to feed too much wire. The 63/37 alloy melts beautifully at a low temperature and gives that smooth, shiny flow I love to see. No cold joints, no hassle. The rosin flux core is just right โ active enough to get clean, bright joints on mildly oxidized parts, but it doesnโt leave If youโre looking for reliable, high-quality solder that performs like the old Kester stuff but at a better price, look no further.

Good value for money
I didn't want to write a review until I'd tested it extensively on various electronic and electrical soldering projects, and it really is a good solder at a good price. I'm not giving it 5 stars because there are other good quality options that cost a little less and offer the same quality as Maiyum.

Changed my outlook as a beginner solderer!
This stuff is a game changer. I have started doing small solder repairs to learn as I progress. I am starting on small easier things with an old radio shack solder iron. I thought my iron and skill was always a problem using the cheap solder I had on hand. Well this changed that. It tips the iron beautifully and flows like water right where you want it. It makes removing old solder easier and holds up well holding pieces I replaced. So far fixed a bunch of retro consoles and had success with every try using this!

It's great, but a "0.6mm" is a little thinner/smaller than I thought.
No problem with the item. It works as intended. If you're new, you have to know....0.6mm lead/tin are very thin/small. These are better for someone, who want to solder in a circuit board. I'm just a regular guitar player, who wants to solder speaker wires and connecting guitar wires (volume and tone pots, toggle switches, and output jacks, etc. For this reason, I would prefer getting something bigger, i.e., 1mm to 1.5mm. Other than that, this solder wire works nicely.

The Holy Grail for RC Bench Work
If youโve spent any time in the RC hobby, you know that space is tight and connections are everything. Iโve been through dozens of different solder brands, but the MAIYUM 63-37 Tin Lead Rosin Core has officially earned a permanent spot on my bench. At 0.6mm, the diameter is absolutely perfect for the precision work required on modern flight controllers, ESCs, and those tiny receiver pins where a thicker wire would just leave a giant, messy blob. The flow on this stuff is incredible. Because it has a true 1.8% rosin core and a low melting point of 361ยฐF, it wets the pads almost instantly. I used it recently to resolder a motor wire on my 1/10 scale basher after a nasty jump, and the solder flowed smoothly into the connector without requiring me to overheat the components. It creates that beautiful, shiny, "wet" looking joint that tells you youโve got a solid mechanical and electrical connection. No dull, grainy "cold joints" here, which is critical when your vehicle is vibrating at high RPMs or taking big hits. I also love the 50g spool size. Itโs compact enough to toss into my field kit or pocket for track-side emergency repairs, yet thereโs plenty of wire to last through several full builds. Whether you are doing intricate LED wiring or fixing a snapped battery lead on a micro-drone, this solder makes the job effortless. It bites fast, cools strong, and has significantly less "splatter" than the cheap lead-free stuff. If you want your RC electronics to stay connected through the dirt and the jumps, don't settle for anything less than this 63/37 mix.

High cospa!
I don't know why the price is so low for this lead rosin core solder. I love the size for circuit boards and it works well. No issues.
