An emotional conclusion to the trilogy!
And just like that, this masterpiece of a trilogy comes to an end. Let me tell you, I am an emotional wreck right now. I was not ready going into this book for the trilogy to come to an end and I remain, at this moment in time, still not ready to let go... This final book was emotionally painful and agonising while simultaneously being epically beautiful. However, I do believe it was written just the way it was meant to be. This book put me through it, *crying*! I still can't process that it's over. I have so much love for these characters. Each and every one of them grew immensely throughout the course of the trilogy and with that grew my love and attachment to them also. I will never not think about them. All I can think right now (while I'm sobbing) is, goodbye for now...

James, Cordelia and Belial?!!!
'Once you had lost everything, she reasoned, there was no reason not to embrace whatever small happinesses you could.' This book was huge! 845 pages of Shadowhunter goodness! The end. It's the end. I don't want it to end! The thought of never reading about my Will again makes me so sad! So lets get into it. I must admit the first half was a slog, the only light and gasp moment part was a Paris bit!!!! However once I hit around 50%, I was hooked! The angst, omg the angst! There was miscommunication everywhere and I was on the edge of my seat shouting 'tell them'!!!! Whilst I love James, Cordelia and Matthew for their own reasons, I don't really care for love triangles but: Lucie and Jesse, Thomas and Alistair, Anna and Ari, I lived for them!!!!! The book was filled was quotes and illustrations that were utterly superb. I highlighted so many that really resonated with me! Also, I'll say no more apart from at 67% my heart was torn out! I love being immersed into the Shadowhunter world, I am addicted and I never want it to end so I'm probably going to do a complete reread of all of them later on in the year!

Great ending to the series
Cassandra Clare has, of course, done it again. This was the most dramatic book of TLH series and it did a good job of tying up the threads of the stories with her characteristic humour and inventiveness and concluding it in a way that was satisfying to read. There was some big bombshells that I wasn't expecting and for some characters I would have appreciated a bit more closure for some characters storylines. But given the size of the book I can appreciate why that wasn't possible, and with a big cast of characters it's hard to do all of them justice. Overall a good ending to the trilogy, but more tying up would have been lovely.

A good book.
I have finally read book three,it's taken a while but I've read it. I havd enjoyed it, but I prefer the Mortal Instruments, the Infernal Devices, and the other three with Emma and Julian. Name escapes me for the moment. But I've read it, there are some sad moments, some happy ones as well. For those who have read the others have tissues handy. I also hope the many family trees available if you Google will be amended as many are incorrect. Perhaps Cassie will do them. Anyway enjoy.

Light holiday reading
I bought the set of 3 books in this series. They were ok for light holiday reading. I wouldn't bother with any more if new books were added to the series

Sad it’s over
After waiting almost 2 years for this book I have finished it in 2 days, now sad it’s all over! I thought it was a great conclusion to the trilogy and many ends tied up. I think the family tree we have seen in previous books threw me off as it’s clearly not accurate and made it harder to accept the fate of some, well one, particular character (don’t want to spoil anything!) Overall I loved it and think Cassandra Clare has done it again with another amazing Shadowhunter story! Who knows how long it will be until we have to wait for the next one, but I will be eagerly awaiting it whenever it comes.
