This has become my go-to lip oil! My favorite shade is Money Mauve and I love it so much that I bought 4 so that I can have backups and keep one in each of my regular spots (fave purse, work bag, you know the drill).The color is exactly what I’ve been looking for, and I spent about a year trying different brands and similar shades before I finally found this ELF lip oil. First of all, I love that ELF is a reliable, affordable, cruelty free brand that I can find easily. But this shade is reason enough to buy this product. It is just the right mix of pink and brown, and most importantly, it settles nicely after you’ve worn it for awhile, at least for my particular skin tone. Other glosses and oils I’ve tried just don’t fade true to the shade or the shade is great but the oil doesn’t last long, and this does both jobs pretty well.My next favorite thing is the applicator! The applicator tip is a larger size than other glosses and oils I’ve used: very plush, comfy to use, and spreads the product nicely. The oil itself is a nice consistency that lasts well and keeps your lips feeling soft and moisturized. Not quite as lasting as MILK’s Odyssey line of lip oils, for instance — but for the price, this is a great option if you want a nice lip oil without dropping $25.I wear this for everything: school, going out, work, even just hanging around the house. It’s truly form meets function: great shades and great hydration. I definitely recommend it!I’ve added a photo using this shade without makeup as well as one with my go-to for everyday makeup so you can see how it looks casually or a lil dressed up. :)

honestly i get the hype. i got honey talks and it's such a pretty nude color. it doesn't have that much pigment, so i don't think the shade i got would suit darker skin tones/darker pigmented lips. however it is SO moisturizing and keeps my lips feeling yum yum for hours. i love the applicator too, it feels very soft. i would recommend honey talks as a blind buy, it is universally flattering as a nude oil. even if it doesn't show up on your skin it is still so moisturizing and glossy. then from there i would branch out and try other shades!
