I have no complaints on this blade, it will clip the thickest of hair/fur. I have 7 animals from dogs to a mini mule that have really thick coats. I was spending a mini fortune on clipper blades, until I finally tried this blade. 1 blade clipped 7 thick coats from course to soft and still sharp! I would highly recommend this product, but with the caution, be very careful this blade is extremely sharp. I was cleaning my blade and accidently touched my finger on the blade and it cut me pretty good.

OMG! I am a certified head pet stylist of ten years, and I know what is efficient & what is not. This blade is my GO too & my #1 blade I use all day. It’s so sharp, cuts beautifully, & barely gets hot! Highly recommend!

I was really disappointed with this blade. Fresh out of the package, it went dull before I could even finish one medium-sized dog. Hair jams quickly and easily between the guard and blade causing a poor cut. I take good care of my blades (cleaning, oiling, cooling), so this isn’t an issue of maintenance. For the price and the Wahl brand name, I expected much better performance. A clipper blade should last multiple dogs before needing sharpening, but this one struggled right away. I’ll be switching back to other brands that hold an edge longer.

I’d purchased the Wahl animal KM Inspire and learned the hard way that it’s not recommended to take the blade unit apart. Well, I needed to fully sanitize the blades that came with it and, after much assembling and reassembly, I was left with a virtually useless set of clippers. I finally ordered this to replace the blade unit I have, since I am apparently unable to get the alignment & tension correct on the original, and am so glad I did. Like a hot knife through butter. I can finally finish my dog’s haircut. Out of the package it was evident that they’d been oiled prior to packing them, so that was nice.

Bought this blade for my KM10 clippers. Expedient shipping but as dull as a pair of childrens' grade school scissors. I took this blade to my groomer because she also uses a KM10 clipper and tried it on her clipper. She had the same result. Fortunately, she knew why. Apparently, the black coating that is applied at the factory is too thick on the business end of the blade. The teeth area. According to her, most Ultimate Competition Series blades from Wahl have this problem, but just having them sharpened will fix the issue. She was kind enough to give me one of her 30 blades and she took mine from me. She said she'll just have her "Guy" sharpen them when he comes to sharpen all her blades every couple of months. I took her 30 blade and groomed my dog with it when I got back to the house. It cut thru his Doodle hair like a hot knife thru melted butter!

This is a durable blade that delivers the perfect summer cut length on an English Cream Doodle and a Maltese. This blade has saved a lot of money and paired with K2 Wahl clipper I can quickly groom all 3 dogs.
