Dad and kiddo
Bought for our 3yo son but dad liked it too so we had to get more. They are well-made and work great on hardwood floors so they were a great Christmas gift for indoor entertainment! We ended up with a total of 5 different model cars so some could be played with and one or two could go on dads collection shelf in his hobby room. Clearly, we are fans of them!

Decent Starter Car
Pretty basic, but does it well. 5 AA batteries (not included) and you're good to go. Simple remote, with buttons, not sticks - forward/back/left/right. It's not super-strong, but can take a couple of bumps. Moderate speed, so it would work well as a first entry into the RC world. Looks nice too. :)

Attractive looking RC car with simple controls
I’ll start with the appearance. It’s quite faithful to the look of the real thing. It would have been nice if it had doors that opened, and maybe some lights that blinked just to give it some pizzazz but those are frills. In terms of performance, it’s adequate. It doesn’t go too fast and that’s probably a strength for an entry level RC vehicle. That goes hand in hand with the controls on the remote. Left, right, forward and reverse. That’s it. Five AA batteries and you’re good to go.I liked it. If you want a basic RC to get your feet wet, you could do worse than this

Son is having a blast with this R/C car
Lately my son has been obsessed with cars, the types of cars, makes models, race cars etc. He loves the realistic design of this one. It’s easy for him to function and maneuver. Still drives nicely even with him crashing it into things. This will be the perfect gift for kids who love cars and RC cars. Works best on a hard flat surface. I wouldn’t recommend it on carpet or outside uneven surfaces. It takes five AA batteries total not included.

Good for an older kid
My five-year-old loves remote control vehicles, but hasn’t really taken a lot of interest in this one for some reason. I think maybe it doesn’t go as fast as he’d like or maybe isn’t as intuitive to figure out.It has a nice collector type metal body, but with a child who tries to have move it off of counters or higher levels, it will probably break pretty easily. It’s a nice looking car and maybe a good fit for an older child.

Awesome looking Lambo, pretty quick for it's size. Great gift
I got the orange SVJ and a Ferarri to try out. They are pretty quick for the size, and I loved the amount of detail in the body. It's got more detail than most RC cars, which means it looks great sitting on the shelf or driving it around outside. My kids love them both, I think we're going to try and do some action shots for videos. The cars don't come with any batteries, it takes 3 AA in the car, and 2 AA in the controller. The Lambo was noticeably slower than the Ferrrari, I don't know why. Both were able to go up and down a flat hill. They did fine on small bumps. The handling is very good for this price point.

Gorgeous looking, but very basic R/C vehicle
The media could not be loaded. This is a very attractive replica of a Lamborghini SVJ with obvious care put into the molding. Unlike some previous R/C vehicles I'd picked up the shell on this vehicle is a hard plastic, not a vacuum form, suggesting it is meant to be a dual-purpose item both for play and for display. The R/C aspect of this couldn't be more streamlined and simplified. The Remote features literally only four pads, forward, reverse, left and right. The car moves along at an okay pace but will quickly lose interest with older kids. However, the slow speed and the simple controls make this an excellent entry-level R/C vehicle to whet the appetite of younger kids. There appears to be no working lights, nor does the forward/reverse offer any level of speed control. It's simple push the button and it goes. No ramping up or down the speed. For all the limitations I DID manage a slight amount of "drift" on a concrete floor (that is to say I managed to get it to slide slightly when changing quickly form forward to reverse and turning the wheels) which, honestly, was better than I expected it would do.Note that the instructions caution against using the car anywhere but on a paved surface of some sort, and to avoid water, especially, which is a realistic concern to avoid damaging the electric servos and the battery case.In conclusion, if you target this to younger kids, age ten and under, they should find this car pretty entertaining, and due to its slow speed, it's far less likely to get lost, or break anything.
