I travel for my job and using a laptop is a must. My laptop has a small screen and because I need to use 2 different screens at once, I will either use the side-by-side function (which makes my view of the 2 screens even smaller) or I will minimize & maximize each program a hundred times throughout the day (which is a royal pain in the neck).One day I was watching videos on a popular social media app & a creator was showing off his new screen extender and I was very impressed - I honestly didn't know that they made screen extenders for little laptops - and I knew that I had to have one.If you're like me, you might like to do a little research before you purchase something. I immediately opened Amazon and spent a good while reading reviews of the different brands of laptop screen extenders & I settled on this one.Now I am not that tech savvy so what attracted me was the remark in the product description (or maybe in the reviews I read for it) that this was so easy to use, you just "plug & play." When it arrived, I quickly did just that - didn't even bother with reading the instructions. Much to my surprise (& delight), it was just that easy to do! I was actually looking forward to my next assignment so I could put it to use.Now I don't game, so I can't speak on how good it may be for stuff like that. My job requires me to gather info from a web-based program and then type notes on a Word document and this is perfect for what I do. It made me so happy that it did exactly what I needed it to do. I am glad that I purchased this & I have been on several assignments since getting it and I have experienced zero issues while using itI've been doing this job for 10 years and I still can't believe that I never knew that this even existed and now I can't imagine working without it. It's a real game changer for me!I think it was worth the cost. I selected the black one simply because it was cheaper than the other ones (why I don't know).It came nicely packaged and the monitor has a sturdy carrying case that has a pocket on the side for the cord. It came with a few different cords and I just carry the one I use. The case fits perfectly in my rolling laptop bag. I don't know all the specifics but what I did like about this one is the ability to use it on different sized laptops because it extends on the left & right, hugging the monitor firmly and stays put - so in the event I'm issued a larger laptop in the future, I will still be able to use this (the measurements are listed in the product description). There is a little kickstand that comes out of the back of it which provides a bit more stability than just the grippers on either side of it.At this point, after just weeks of owning it, I would rate it 10/10 for what I need it for. I have had positive comments about it from my co-workers and from other folks who have seen it just passing by me. Lol, it's definitely a conversation starter. I think I was not alone in not knowing these existed because everyone who has seen it seem impressed with it and ask me all kinds of questions about it. I write down the name of it all the time so those curious folks can look it up on Amazon.Most definitely recommend! I will never not be using it because I find it to be an invaluable tool for my job duties.

works with everything i tried, i hooked it up to two different laptops and a raspberry pi too! on one laptop, i attached it to the main screen and was fully stable and locked on, even without the kickstand. on my other laptop, i used it in vertical mode, really nice feature, and balanced too. it worked on one laptop with the usb-c cable only, and was perfect as an extended screen. my other laptop only had hdmi out, so i was able to use it with that one with the supplied hdmi cabel and usb to usb-c cable. i used that same method to run my raspberry pi computer as a main monitor. everything worked perfectly, and with a nice image quality as well. if you need a portable monitor for you computer, i highly recommend this.

I got this portable monitor for when I was away from the office. It is light in weight and well made, it comes with a carrying case if you can't fit it into your computer bag.I only use the USB and HMI cables to connect as I don't have a spare USB-C port, but it is easy to connect and the cables have coloured tags that make connecting easy. The picture quality is very good and the colours vibrant.The frame of the monitor folds in like a book that protects the screen when being transported, when folding out you clip it onto the back of your own screen and is held firmly in place, there are rubber mounts on four corners to stop it slipping off and to not damage your computer.It really was plug and play, straight from the box, it carried out the auto setup with no problems and it was up and running giving me the two screens that I needed within minutes.I am very happy with this, so much so I told a colleague who got one himself to use and is pleased with its operation.A great price for being able to add an extra screen to your laptop, would recommend it for anyone requiring an extra screen on the go.
