I love these lights! They're affordable and super easy to program. I've seen some reviews that they don't fit all the way over their framed tanks but I keep the top two plastic screws right on the top part of the frame rim and the bottom plastic screws just under the frame on the glass and they're holding just fine. I did add a little rubber piece on the glass so the plastic screw isn't just sitting directly on the glass. I'm new to live aquarium plants so I can't comment on the growth yet but my plants are staying green and look happy.

The media could not be loaded. This little 7inch light is amazing ,the aesthetic of this light is why I decided to give it a try.For the price and functionality of this light I would say this is a 100% win I would definitely buy another one of these lights when I decide to set up my shrimp tank up! the unboxing process was a breeze, It was incredibly simple to set up the light. The stand gives you plenty of options to orient this little light for example my tank is not long it's a square. with the two sides of the moutining bracket I was able to set it up where it was in the center of the tank but the bracket was off to the left side of my tank , you see what I'm talking about of you look at my vid. If you have a long rectangular tank that's no more than I would say 26 inches long the 12 inch light would be a great affordable option , because it would be able to be mounted on either the far ends of the Middel or even offset Middel on both side it really up to you! Another reason I bought it is because of the 24hr feature I'm leaving out of town for 5 days I really enjoy walking up and Turing on my old light, and Turing it off at night . Because I will not be here to do that its rally important to me that my tank doesn't get to much light that could cause a green algae bloom. Who wants to see that after coming home formvacation.ill show you guys what I had on my 2.5 gallon freshwater tank, and post what it looks like with the new light ! All in all I would highly recommend this aquarium light for anyone looking to upgrade there lights without braking the bank . Thank you for reading this hope it helps! :)

I bought this as a replacement for the LED that came with my 5 gallon kit. I like the built in timer and light settings. The colors and luminosity are so much better. I really hope this helps out my new plants too.The first photo (bluish tint) is the original light that came with the kit. The second photo is the new light going through the morning phase of the 24 hr timer.

great light! my plants are thriving under it. i ordered the larger size for my 20 gal. the only thing keeping me from leaving 5 stars is the instructions. i would love to get a timer situation set up but the instructions are so weird i haven’t had the energy to sit down and try to process how to work it. great light if you’re down to turn it on and off every day

I love this light. It’s perfect for my 6 gallon cube nano tank. I love the timer settings - it’s adorable to see the shrimp settling down as the lights dim for nightfall and get active again as the lights turn on in the morning. It doesn’t perfectly time with outside, but I love that I don’t have to worry about their schedule being slightly off.

programming is a bear and the bases is a bit thick but the light is wonderful and the 24 hour setting is really nice.

Works wonderful easy to put together and holds on my 55 gallon tank love how the remote is attached to the plug. Great buy and well built.
