Do these Tea bags contain plastic?

The teabags, like many tea manufacturing companies use a type of plastic to bond / seal the bags, to stop the tea leaves from coming out whilst the bag is dry / wet. However, last year after an out cry from the Irish public and campaigners against plastic in teabags. Barry's developed new machinery. This allowed teabags to be sealed without plastic. Making them 100% biodegradable. The company were expecting to have their own biodegradable product on shelves, before the end of the 2020. Unfortunately I am unaware if this ambition was achieved what with COVID. So best check the label on the box. If in doubt, I've been informed Lyons tea have not been using plastic to seal their bags for many years. Sorry I wasn't able to give a firm yes or no answer.
