Goldwood Sound 120 Watt 8ohm Poly Mica 5" Speaker Midrange Black (GM-85/8)

Just needed replacement drivers for some cabinets I had (they still didn’t quite fit but that’s not because of the speakers it’s because of the cabinet openings weren’t cut right) but these fit in without having to do any adjustment and they sound just like they should. good value

Good product, excellent midrange, I have used it as a replacement in Infinity speakers and in personal projects and it never disappoints.

Tough to find something in this size that's 8 ohms for a price that fit the budget for this particular project. Used these to fill the existing speaker holes in the front of a neglected and gutted 60s-era Magnavox radio cabinet that was discarded by a neighbor (gave it new legs with reinforced mountings, speaker grill cloth, paint, and the front design was reproduced on the back—minus the speakers—as it had just a plain piece of plywood since it was meant to stand against a wall, but I wanted the ability to put it anywhere). These were a perfect fit for the front speakers (along with a pair of 6x8s) and, connected to a Yamaha bluetooth receiver with a remote IR switch (small black protrusion by the leg on the right), the sound is pretty good, but I don't blast music, so I don't know how they react under stress and the 6x8s probably do more of the work.

These were a great replacement for the high mid drivers on my ADA Bassline cabinet! I asked a measurement question here on Amazon and the manufacturer provided a helpful response in a timely fashion. Thank you! ☺️🎸🤘

Used in BIC EV-15 as a midrange replacement. Drops in. After a few hours of break in, sounds lovely. Seems slightly more sensitive than the OE, definitely smoother, brings out more vocal clarity. Great value. Love ‘em.

After replacing my Radio Shack's Mach 2 midrange speakers, the vocals from CD's DVD movies and concerts really came to life and gave my old speakers new life. The midrange speakers sounded like the vocalist was in the room with you. Great replacement speakers for the money!

This is the only heavy-magnet sealed mid-range 4" I could find on Amazon, so I bought two. 800hz free resonance and a 13khz rated high range mean this is not a mid-base producing part. I set a 6db crossover at 1500hz and it performs well at reasonably high volume with no distortion other than a nasty spike/pit at 3khz. That said, you can't HEAR that... It only shows up when analyzing the speaker. This was paired with a 10k 6db crossover piezo behind a 30 ohms parallel resistor and the combo creates a FLAT response. Good, solid design. If you need a 4" for upper voice frequencies this will do what you want, do not hesitate to buy.

Son medios rangos verdaderos no reproducen bajos ni agudos, asi que son para sistemas de 3 o mas vias. Hacen buen match con un woofer y un tweeter de seda. La calidad de sonido se nota, le da vida a las voces para que no se oigan congestionadas. El foam que tiene en el surround se siente de buena calidad. Los recibo sin defectos de fabricación visibles por el momento.

Comprei para trocar os médios de duas caixas de som antigas Philips FB335 e o resultado final foi excelente. Liguei eles com capacitores de 10uf. Tem boa qualidade sonora e a construção é simples mas robusta. Vieram bem embalados e em perfeito estado.
