This is a direct replacement part for the shut off assembly i broke by mishandling the wand (threw a heavy tool on the handle). I was worried about whether it was the correct replacement for my vinegar sprayer with viton o-rings because it is no longer sold. i looked at a lot of shut off handles on the chapin store and found this one which had the same colors and I was hoping the same o-rings (it does). It arrived in original packaging, and installed perfectly in place of the broken one. i now have my heavy duty sprayer working again like new.

My backpack sprayer was pumping up fine but as I traversed over the lawn between shooting weed killer at nasty weed patches the liquid was leaking from the nozzle leaving a streak of dead grass across my lawn.I disassembled the spring apparatus, cleaned it up, and reassembled it. Then the spring blew the whole thing apart! Time for new hardware. I ordered this part and replaced the original. Everything is working great now and I’m not killing healthy grass because of a leaky valve.

This is a good quality sprayer handle but only if you are using it with a Chapin wand. The threads on both end are a different size that does not allow you to use this sprayer handle with Hudson sprayers for Roundup sprayers. I attempted to use different plastic hose adapters to make it work also but the threads did not allow that. This handle does not use the standard GHT garden hose threads as one would expect. Otherwise, the quality is just fine for the price. Make no doubt that it is a plastic spray handle but it is better quality than most others available.

Bought this to replace my solo wands handle because the safety valve would leak and the lock wouldnt close it. The valve here works as intended and is sturdy. The handle is really comftrable. The lock mechanism is also very sturdy and always works.

needle on pressure gauge jumped over stop pin, now cannot register pressure on gauge.
