Works well. Heights labeled. Wish the case was a bit better. Would be interested if a hard case was available. Overall a well built pole that's easy to use in the field.

I really am happy with this Carbon Fiber Rod! It is very easy to collapse it and store and fit easily anywhere in the truck. It is a first class rod with excellent construction.

Broke after second use. Clamps do not hold the pole segments sufficiently. Shims at the joints fall off and easily lost when product "disassembles itself" (i.e. falls apart). This is a very, very poor product which will last just long enough for its 30 day return period to expire. Note also it is aluminum, as stated in the product description, not carbon fiber, as stated in the "product details". For me a negative review is 3 or 4 stars, I don't give one stars lightly but this is a really substandard product.

Not sure if I got a different pole than the rest of you, but mine looks identical to this one and not a single part is carbon fiber. Its a decent aluminum telescopic pole for the price. I will likley keep it as a spare, but I probably would not have ordered it had I known it was not carbon fiber. Thank you for updating the descriptions to aluminum recently. I Have used the pole on a few projects now, and iI think it will last.

This pole is designed to work with a survey rover headpiece and is very nice. Carbon fiber makes it lighter, and doesn't interfere with the compass. I'm hoping is doesn't conduct electricity either, but I didn't test that with any powerlines so I'm not sure 8^). Collapses neatly and comes with a bag, but it's durable enough to just throw in in the back of the car on the floor. Well made.

Overall a good buy. The bag is a joke, but the pole is very light and easy to use. Unfortunately my survey tech disassembled the pole by accident, and now when telescoping, the pole doesn't "stop" where it is supposed to so setup needs to be quite careful.
