LorAnn Oils Super-Strength Cheesecake Flavouring - 1 dram

Wonderful flavor! I was hesitant to purchase this as I'm never sure what flavoring oils or extracts are going to taste like and reviews are often varied, so I was definitely skeptical, but this one hit it right on the mark. I added a few drops to my coffee to test it and, voilà, cheesecake coffee! I definitely tasted the notes of graham cracker and cream cheese which I thought would be hard to replicate. I'm planning on using this as a flavor additive to my homemade strawberry jam. If my first sampling of this is any indication of what the final product will taste like, it'll make for fantastic gifts of strawberry cheesecake jam this season. Just to know - sampled directly from the bottle is not a good indication of the actual flavor since it's so concentrated and contains a small amount of alcohol somewhat like vanilla extract does and may leave a bitter taste. Mixed with coffee, or any other "base", it transforms into a very, very accurate flavor of cheesecake. I'd liken this to the coffee syrup additives you find at Cumberland Farms coffee stations. I'm anxious to try the other flavors this company puts out. Oh, and a little of the super strength stuff really does go a long way so I'd recommend adding small amounts and tasting as you go along until you get the desired flavor concentration.

The flavor isn’t exactly cheesecake, but it’s still sweet and was just right for one batch of candy! No added color which is always nice, it does turn a bit yellow as it cools!

Bought this flavoring to use in my Cheesecake Caramel Apples. It added a decent cheesecake flavor although I had to use a little more than I thought I would. The bottle is TINY so I thought it would be super concentrated but not so much. I was able to use the tiny bottle for 3 batches of my Cheesecake Apples.

I like the fragrance and the taste is not overpowering despite the title of the flavoring. I expected to have a bit more of the cheesecake flavoring which it didn't quite have for me. Maybe someone else's palate may be different. I didn't want to use too much because of the size of the bottle and the batch of cupcakes I made were standard 6-12 count so it was hit or miss with the amount used. Overall, not bad I would try other flavors to see which one I really like.

I purchased this flavoring to make cheesecake DIY "quest" protein bars. I mixed in graham crackers, white chocolate chips, and a touch of lemon extract. Unfortunately the cheesecake flavor did not come through despite using about half the bottle for approximately 6 bars. I am basing my review off of my personal use of this item as I'm sure there are ways to use this flavoring that work perfectly. Ufortunately because of the price and lack of flavor in my protein bars, I will not be reordering.
