But no, seriously, it's tiny. It's adorable. It's perfect for what it's marketed for and works wonders for crushing medications and doesn't leave much left behind. It rests firmly in the palm of your hand for easy use and, while the outside of the pestle is smooth, it isn't slippery nor is the entire thing heavy. I bought it for my older parents for use with some problem medications (seriously, how do doctors think that these horse pills, as I've always heard the big ones called, work for those with problems swallowing said horse pills) and it's been a boon.

Looks nice, nice and smooth, decent weight so it doesn't slide around. Pestle decent size so you can hang on to it. I like it.
