LAWN FERTILISER WEED FEED AND MOSS KILLER - 20KG SACK

I have a large lawn which I created post house renovation. I deliberately used a Kentucky Blue Grass mix because it's drought resistant and therefore saves a load of water best not wasted on grass. Basically over summer the grass goes brown and miserable looking like any other but the roots are very deep and as soon as the rain comes, so does the lawn.However, what I have noticed over the years is that just at the end of the hot period a good dose of feed and weed is the perfect helping hand and frankly, it seems to make little difference which I use. The chemicals needed must be the same because grass, is of course grass.And thus I bought this. The price was as good as it gets for this type of product and it was delivered to my door thus saved me the pain and misery of the local big box DIY store where my wallet would have been ripped bodily from my back pocket and then toasted at the till, to be returned lighter than helium and still smoking.This feed and weed was thus applied just before the forecast predicted rain - which of course was about two days out - and a relatively short time later, maybe a ten days to two weeks I have a lush green and mostly weed free lawn.It looks pretty good apart from the fact that with rain and moist soil come the serried ranks of moles who find my lawn utterly irresistible. They seem to belong to a secret WW1 Somme re-enactment group of moles if I'm not mistaken. Unfortunately, the law forbids me from mounting a decent Vickers machine gun to deal with them.Overall, a great value product that will help your lawn to return to it's former glory.

Bought this last year as well to use on our new homes old lawn.Good value compared to other well known makes.Only slight disappointment was it didn’t kill off the thistles in the grass. But that might be due to it being an old lawn needing lots of tlc to bring it back . Will see how it goes this year .But it worked well on the moss and greened up nicely.

Of all of the lawn care products I've used to date, this has shown the greatest improvement on my lawn. Applied the feed and weed mid June and now a month and a half later I feel complelled to write a review. Spread sparingly as it will blacken the grass with heavy use. It delt with the majority of weeds and moss efficiently. (Clover, moss and buttercups in the lawn). The dead moss did need raking and scarifying). As a new build property (4 years) getting the lawn into shape was always going to be a challenge, but Proctors Lawn Fertiliser Weed Feed and Moss killerhas made the job so much easier.

Certainly works well

I’ve waited for about a month to review to see what effect it’s had on my lawn.So it does make a difference, the grass is slightly greener. It has killed a number of weeds, mainly dandelions and moss. But hasn’t killed them all, area I used it on is still quite weedy.Overall, it’s ok, but a lot of it depends on the state of your grass in the first place.

I use this product professionally and at home. It is certainly up there with the best of any lawn weed, feed & moss killers that I have used over the years. Make sure you use a good spreader and set it to the right application rate. Control your walking speed and remember to keep working the spreader when you are shutting off the supply of fertiliser or you will drop too much onto the lawn resulting in burning the lawn. Great product, fully recommended.

Not the best got results took along time easy to spread which isn’t supplied with product hence 4 stars had to use one of another one I bought
