White Knight C44A7W 7KG Vented Tumble Dryer [Energy Class C]

This has probably been one of the most useful things in terms of quality of life for me. Initially I was using an airing rack for my laundry, but it could by no means handle multiple loads. This meant hanging laundry on every available surface, which was by no means conducive to entertaining guests. This has been a reliable companion since, enabling me to shuttle from washing machine to dryer to chest of drawers, occasionally ironing shirts if I'm feeling particularly motivated. It can handle polyester satin bedsheets without corruption. Particularly drenched items may require two spins and fluff should be removed from filters occasionally, but it's a massive relief in comparison to the drenching my flat got from dripping clothes. However, don't be as foolish as I was! It comes with a hose, it just needs to be detached from underneath and led out of a window or other airway. I operated it without noticing at first, even buying a separate hose only to notice afterwards.

Haven’t had a drier for over ten years but decided I needed one . I avoided hotpoint for obvious reasons and read good reviews about white knight driers.I cannot fault this product it’s eady to use and dried things quickly, the fluff collector is slotted inside the front door and I empty after each load I dry. Good looking drier and great value for money and this particular one is a good size for those bigger items

Great product. Ridiculously simple to use; no complicated programs, just decide on one of two possible temperatures, select how long you want it to run and switch it on!Be aware that there's no fancy anti-crease feature. This means that some things come out more creased than usual, if you don't get to it as soon as it has finished. This despite the cooling at the end.

Really pleased with this machine bought to replace smaller dryer, over twenty years old. New dryer is quicker, quieter and does a much better job.Delivery company was really good, telephoned to arrange a time and delivered as promised and driver carried machine into the house.

Had a White Knight for several years and when it finally broke its drum mounting, we replaced it with this model. What a load of scrap. We had to return the first and the second one, due to awful metallic screeches and excessive vibrations / rattles. The third one was ok for a week and then started showing the same symptoms. In my opinion something has gone badly wrong with the quality control or engineering of this dryer model. AVOID!

I chose this dryer after reading reviews on Amazon and also looking at Which? We just wanted a basic and simple dryer, and this one ticked that box! It was easy to position in a very tight space because it is light. Some reviewers said that the filter was hard to clean out, but I find it easy just to lift out, de-fluff and replace in the slot. We've had the dryer a couple of months and we're happy with it.

Dryer worked well for 14 wks but now there is no heat from it at all. Rang for an engineer and one came this morning. I was out but my daughter was there and she says the guy was there 10 mins. I came home happy only to find the problem hadn't been sorted at all. Have just spent 15mins on the phone trying to talk to someone. I think I may have bought a pig in a poke!

We like this product which arrived in perfect condition.Down side was that it arrived 7 DAYS EARLIER than quoted without notice. It was fortuitous that we were at home at the time of delivery. The driver said that happens all the time!Anyway we are very happy with the tumble drier so far and hope it lasts as long as the White Knight model it replaced after 20 years of reliable service.
