Red Lantern LMPSH14-CR 14" Art Shoji Table Lamp, Cranes

Perfect little lamp for my Asian inspired room.

Nice looking light. Little disappointed the top is cardboard, which looks ok but for the money I expected more.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve ordered other items from Red Lantern and have been very satisfied, but something is going on with their quality control. I suspect that’s the reason the price dropped from $69 to $38 when I bought it, to $20 as of June 13.I ordered two lamps. I liked this brand and vendor enough to wait several weeks for them. They arrived just over a few hours ago, and upon opening it, I found only one instead of two. Thinking they had shipped separately, I checked my Amazon account. Nope, both had been marked delivered with a photo of one package on my porch.Then there’s the lamp itself. It was a yellowish shade instead of a whiter color in the photo. It looked blurry printed, flimsy, and cheap. Like the kind of 3D printed artwork with the blue and the red ink because the ink is so blurry here.The wooden top was instead a piece of cardboard glued to two black squares, with a hole in the center. Not even trimmed. You can see the cardboard sticking out the side.One of the panels is upside down.The light portion of the base did not fit. There was no way of making it fit since the screws were a centimeter too long. The only was I could get it in was to bend the metal part at an angle, thus leaving two sharp pointy metal corners sticking out.

Got this for my husband a few years ago. He likes cranes and Asian themes. The quality is a little cheap/lightweight, BUT it has lasted perfectly for 3 years so far, so I can't complain. It is pretty easy to dust and clean and the light illuminates the paper quite nicely. My husband still likes it and keeps it on his nightstand. Would definitely buy again.
