Great knives. They aren't made of crap steel like most department store knives. They are shark and actually hold an edge.

Beautiful, Balanced & Sharp
Great knife set! I'm no "cook", but (as we all know) there's a night and day difference between chinese and German manufacturing. This is the last set I'll ever need to buy, and worth paying a lot more!

Really great cutlery set.
Our daughter & son in law have their hands full with 4 small children, 2 cats & a dog. They’re hard on their house & its contents. We bought them a Zwilling Henckels 5 Star set 10 years ago. They’ve had lots of love & needed replacing. Purchased this Zwilling Henckels Gourmet set and could not be happier. The knives are well crafted, supremely sharp and look like they will withstand the tests of time in our kids household. Overall a great value for the money. A few $$ more than sets at big box stores but so worth it.

Better than jewelry

Quality at a great price.
I was looking for good kitchen knives at an affordable price that weren't made in China and I was pleasantly surprised to find that Henckels' Zwilling line is made in either Germany or Spain and are top quality. I also needed ones that were both lightweight and ergonomic due arthritis. These fit all those needs beautifully.

Make sure to get Zwilling Henckels!
I was given a Henckels’ knife set at my wedding, 30 years ago and we liked it very much. After 30 years, none of the knives shows much damage and the block still looks very nice. When we decided to upgrade to a larger set, I turned to Henckels. But thanks to Amazon reviews, I soon learned that Zwilling had bought Henckels, while at the same time, other companies were selling cheap and flimsy knife blocks and knives under the Henckels name. I learned to look for the twin men logo, instead of the single man on the old. My Zwilling set arrived and I love it! Same high quality as my old one; sharp, beautifully made; a pleasure to have in my kitchen!
