Works well in an unlit hallway. Just leave switched on and they detect body heat, useful when both hands are holding a tray of food etc.

I really wanted motion sensor bulbs and firstly tried top brand which were like £14 each. They were so annoying, you needed an app to control your bulbs and the sensor was rubbish, my 5 yo child had to clap her hands in the air for them to work, returned them and bought those.I didn't expect them to be this good. They are great value for money, already bought 4 of those for downstairs and upstairs corridor. They work so well, not only it turns on for my child but also catches movement when my little dog walks near them. You don't need a fancy app, and don't have to set them up, you just fit them in and they work immediately.

I put one of these in the porch. It works well, coming on whenever I come in or go out. And they That's precisely what I wanted it to do. Lights come on quickly when needed, but don't stay on for hours because I forgot to turn them off. So, very good so far.There are two in the pack so I wanted to use the other above the kitchen sink. It's not well lit by the room light, but again when manually switched it was forgotten and often remained on for hours. This worked fine on the night I first installed it, The following morning it didn't work at all.The difference is that the kitchen has a window, and the lamp takes it upon itself to stay off even though the light through the window is not enough. The result is that there's probably an hour in the morning and another hour in the evening when the light fails to operate even though the sink itself is not well lit.Sensible answer would have been to provide a way to disable the light sensor. Or better still, a way to adjust the light sensor to be appropriate for all circumstances. That's not provided, so the only way to use these successfully is to install them only in places where there is little or any natural daylight.
