This model version is not for the UK
Do not buy this radio if you want to use it in the UK. It came with a 2-pin European style mains plug.The product page incorrectly says that the radio is battery powered. It is actually mains powered, with a backup battery for power cuts. Amazon customer service confirmed that the product on this page (sold by Amazon) only comes with a 2-pin plug. I sent it back and ordered the same radio from Avensys, via Amazon. It came with a UK plug. Apart from that is was exactly the same. The page for the radio sold by Avensys does not mention the power adaptor either, or have a picture of it, so I can't be sure if it always has a UK plug.
