The Health and Wisdom Pure Magnesium Gel works wonderfully. It absorbs quickly, feels soothing on muscles and joints, and the added seaweed extract gives it an extra boost. The oil was a little stronger than I expected, so I used less than directed and added a carrier oil, and it still delivered excellent results. The quality is outstanding, and it provides fast, reliable relief. A great addition to any wellness routine.

Works great on muscle cramps. I like the gel. It is a little watery, but it rubs in without any stickiness.

As someone who doesn't have great absorption through my gut and is deficient in magnesium, I decided to try topical magnesium. One of my doctors suggested I try this brand because of the fact that it doesn't stay greasy and he uses it himself. On my first use, I rubbed it into my wrists to see if it would help the carpal tunnel pain I was experiencing. I didn't notice any difference in my pain, but I did feel pretty mellow for the rest of the evening and slept like a rock. My next adventure was to rub it into one of my knees (the next night). The pain there was diminished and again, I was super mellow, almost felt stoned, and slept like a rock, and felt calm and great the next day. On the third evening, I tried rubbing it into my left foot, letting it soak in for 10 minutes, and then cleaning my foot. That actually caused my foot muscles pain and cramping, which isn't supposed to happen. I did feel calm and collected the following day, so that was good. I didn't use it at all on the fourth night, and I still feel pretty calm and collected. Finding the right dosage is challenging, since it is so concentrated, but take it slow and you will get there. It doesn't have a scent and it doesn't stay greasy. You don't have to wash it off, but if you do, I suggest leaving it on your skin for at least 10 minutes so it really gets in there. I haven't noticed a salty residue. It is called "gel", but the consistency is more water-like, very thin.

Great product to use to bring restful sleep, if no other choice is available, knowing what magnesium does for the body.

I’m not do sure this product is working for me. I may just need to use more quantity. My massage therapist used it on my feet and I enjoyed a refreshing nap afterward, so ordered. I haven’t experienced the same sleep effect since, so have tried it for muscle aches. It has a subtle effect.

I bought this to make a hair regrowth serum with my doTERRA essential oils. Since it takes time to grow hair I can't attest to the fact that it is working. Fingers crossed it does. I bought Ancient Minerals last year for not just pain relief but also for sleep issues. It works great, so I imagine this brand would as well. This one, since it's a gel, would probably work great in homemade magnesium lotion! I bought this gel one because the other brand i bought is watery and i wanted something thicker to put on my scalp. It has a slight smell but not stinky, maybe it's a hint of the seaweed that's in it? The only problem I have is that there is purified water in it, so that kind of dilutes the magnesium which is why I use the other brand to spray on my body.

Love the consistency, though slightly sticky. Perfect bedtime use - gives a gentle warmth to muscles. No scent, which is a huge plus.
