This cable is THE BEST display port cable I've ever used. It's super thick and amazing for the money. Fits great, rock stable performance with my 180HZ 1440P Monitor. Looks like it will hold up for years and years. Does not pass sound through the display port as far as I can tell. Cable is a bit long and doesn't look great but I love it.

A perfect cable for anyone trying to up their visuals of their monitor/tv/etc.Check before you buy:Make sure that your screen will benefit from the perks this cable has to offer before purchases as not every screen has a Display Port Socket.Build Quality:Cable has a thick protective rubber tube that coils around the wires of the cable.Concerns:The only concern is if your socket for the DPI cable is pushed into your system, then this cable will not be able to reach as the protective rubber will block the passage.Conclusion:At the end of the day, this is exactly as amazon states it. Basic, with a higher standard of quality than most. A great purchase for a great value. 2 years later and they have been nothing short of amazing performance. Will buy again for my future additional monitors.

Great quality and works as expected. Much thicker than pictured (we bought 10' ones). Almost as thick as a sharpie. Not very flexible either.

The media could not be loaded.  Basic only in name, this cable is top of the line. I got the 6’ version because I felt something wasn’t right with my original setup. I have an RTX 3060 XC graphics card. I typically use the HDMI port for my setup, but I have that going to my Denon x3700H. My setup was an HDMI cable with an HDMI to-display port adapter going to a 32” 4K monitor with HDR. Before deciding to try this cable, I had thought I was getting all I could get out of my monitor, and this cable proved me wrong by unleashing the HDR even more. Previously, the HDR seemed a bit washed out. My gut instinct proved correct as soon as I hooked up this cable. Despite my original setup saying that I was getting HDR, there was an apparent glaring difference. My display is now crisp and vibrant, and the HDR looks tremendous.Some key things I noticed with this cable:An aesthetical observation, the cable is really thick (shown in video and pic), which could be a good indicator for determining the quality of the product but also can be a bad thing depending on where you need to run the cable.4K@120hz worked flawlessly4K@60hz worked flawlessly1440p looked greatAudio passthrough works and the audio sounded crispI almost went with a different brand but decided on the Amazon Basics brand because of how well Amazon stands behind its product. Given past experiences, I knew that if I had any issues with the cable Amazon would go above and beyond to rectify the situation. So ultimately, you are getting that peace of mind and a great product. Overall, I recommend this cable; it has been great so far!

Not much to say here other than the job is being done well. I play games, watch movies, and lots of other things in 1440p and have noticed no degradation in the picture.
