This magnetic thermal curtain was the right price, looks really nice, works well and is reusable! The coldest part of my apartment during the winter time is the kitchen. I put this curtain up and it blocked off almost all of the cold! I couldn't believe how well it worked. It was easy to install and I think that it will last quite awhile; time will tell. It helped to decrease my electric bill. 👍🏾

I wanted something to divide two rooms in order to save money on AC. Easy to set up, and effective at keeping cool air inside and keeping scents (like kitchen or cat little box) in one room. I love the magnetic opening. My cats go under the curtain, or sometimes use the opening. Great buy!

We bought two of these curtains, of different sizes. They work as stated, and you can use the velcro tape probably once. I had to buy extra to retape as it was not fitting correctly. The magnetic closure is secure and it snaps closed when entering and exiting. The plastic is thick enough, and I believe it serves its purpose if you need a barrier for a door frame. I wished it came in more sizes as our door was an odd size so we had to use two to cover it (with overlapping parts). Overall it is a good door substitute and I like that it lets light in.

These are extremely well made, better than earlier models. These LOOK like a very beautiful large spaced (but thin) bubble wrap! They catch the light and sun. They are not dark but see-through only to the extent that you can see sunlight. The magnetic strips work exactly as they should, and are spaced closer together than previous (different brand) curtains we have purchased. We use this between our bedroom and screened-in porch, with a pocket door. It is not supposed to be cold in SC, so we got them to save on AC bills. SC the last 3 years has been cold for 2 months a year! These curtains work to protect from COLD AND HEAT! They also keep bugs out. The price is great, and has come down in price over 3 years!For the original curtains, I put the velcro up and reinforced it with thumbtacks, and when they needed to be replaced, we also used a hot glue gun to reinforce the original velcro, as it was not worn out!These are so easy to use! Our two cats LOVE them too! They play with it by running through the living room, and through the kitchen, liggety split, into the bedroom. One takes the high road, (over the bed), and the other zooms under the bed. Both reach the curtains at the same time. They end up in a rolling ball of two cats, both smiling. These curtains take a beating! They are well-made and capable of withstanding pet abuse!I have seen reviews that found fault with these for not holding up for long enough. If PROPERLY put up, velcro, thumb tacks, and maybe hot glue for extra protection, these should last at least a year! Pets CAN be hard on them.Please order the right size. We have a sill down the sides and on top of the door. We measured to include the sill!!!! The velcro is just wide enough that we wrap it over, and attach it to the side and top of the sill. These come in several sizes, and this brand is the best we have tried. Ours take a lot of abuse, but I expect them to last at least a year!

This is working perfectly for my application. I needed to separate Up from DS, and have some level of thermal barrier. easy to walk through, and was easy to install..

This thing is great! Magnets bring it right together after walking through it every time. Using it to separate one room that I’m using an a/c unit so its easy access and keeps that one room cool from the different rooms and yes there is no door so this is really practical.

UPDATE: 3 stars- adhesive SUCKS. I’d give it about 2 stars.- the Velcro strap to pull curtains back is too short & not strong enough- if you try to pull both sides of curtain back, the adhesive rips off the top & sides 🙄🙄🙄🙄 defeating the purpose of the curtains entirely.ORIGINAL REVIEW: was 5 starsThese curtains have saved me on my heating bills.I Just moved into an older house that gets some wicked wind causing constant drafts from the sliding doors - these curtains stop it and keep the warmth in. I have an older model single wide trailer and this is the second time I purchased this door screen. It has helped keep my home 10 degrees cooler in the summer and 10 degrees warmer in the winter. My thermostat is right near the back door. In my photo you can even see the condensation from the warm air hitting the cold air. We use our back door alot and we have animals that go in and out so when the weather is mild we often leave the door cracked. The original purpose was to keep the bugs out and we were using the screen style version at first until I found this one and I will never go without one again. Our last one was heavily used and lasted over a year which is why I bought the second one to replace it. I love the updated features too. They added a small velcro tab in the middle for if you want to open the seal up for a while.Awesome product and I greatly appreciate the relief on my thermostat.
