Is there 20 packs in this box? Looks like only 10 in the picture. Or was it two boxes?

HiComes in this box 10 packs and if the description of the item says 20! Packs that means 2 box thanks

Does the "GUM" flavor mean doublemint?

The flavor is mint. Doublemint is Wrigley's tradename.

Is this the original before they ruined it

Afraid not. They screwed it up. Not only do you have to chew 2 pieces to get one of the old ones, the texture is wrong and the mint doesn't last. I have chewed this for over 60 years and loved it. Then, just as you say, they ruined it. I am sure it has to do with money as they quit the foil wrap and they started putting less pieces in each pack for a few years before they jacked with the perfect recipe and screwed it up.
