Great purchase
This is the second one of these I have bought. My first was much smaller. Although they take a while to put together, they last a long time and are super customizable. I did not add the storage shelves on mine. The zip ties are the biggest pain and hurt my hands after putting on a couple hundred. I would definitely recommend this cage. Also a much more affordable option than most cages. It does well and gets the job done though. It will shake because it is flimsy, but it will not fall apart as long as you add the zip ties provided for support. Took me 4 hours to put together without breaks.

The cats love it
EDIT: 1/20/24I have added a photo (not a great one but you get the idea). The cat "condo" is still standing strong with no problems or issues. The cats are still very pleased with it. The thing is held together by zipties but it is strong and has withstood cat zoomies and bumps from the dogs. It is easily moved around for cleaning. With the door placements I chose it is a bit challenging to get in there to clean it but using a swiffer than can be extended makes it easier. I'm considering buying additional pieces to make the enclosure larger just because, but I recommend this 110% for indoor kitties that need a place to stay!Takes two people to put together. Seems flimsy but the cats haven't broke it yet so I consider it a win.

Great shelter, cats love it, but use those zip ties!
TLDR: Straightforward assembly, sturdy panels, plenty big for two large cats, zip ties provide critical structural support. This shelter comes as a box of square panels with plastic connectors for the corners that are either flat on one side or round for the middle pieces. There are three open squares for additional internal support. The panels are very sturdy, and fit nicely together into the connectors, but a large number of zip ties also hold the panels together to ensure they don't slip out of the connectors - we had one floor panel that we missed securing during assembly with the zip ties, and it came loose when a cat jumped on it, but an easy fix to add more zip ties. It's really just worth noting that zip ties are a major part of the structural support, but if you snip the ends after securing, you dont notice them, and they seem to work for now. We assembled this in about 30 minutes (2 adults, somewhat assisted by chuldren). Our cats, who are medium and large, completely bypassed the ladders, and since they seemed to provide more of an obstacle than a help, we removed them. They also didn't want the use the hammock - it was somewhat awkward for them to get into, so we took that out too.Even the large one is comfortable sitting in a square. They have plenty of room to share the shelter, climb around, and get a good view. You are provided with little "door latches" that are essentially just large jewelry latches. There is no way to secure them to the door so they don't just fall off, so I attached them to a chain myself.

Instructions are poor and it takes a long time to ensemble - zip ties are a must!
I have 3 cats and the eldest is harassed by the younger 2. I bought this thinking I might have to put the younger 2 in to allow the older cat some peace but the older cat seems to like the cage as his protection even though I keep the door open. Periodically I will see all of my 3 cats in at different times as the window has a view of a bird feeder and birdbath. I have since removed the hammock as none of my cats have any interest in it. I'm really a normal person but this literally took me 8 hours to ensemble (and some swearing) as the instructions are only line drawings with no text. I had to take apart some of what I had ensembled because of the interior panels which I installed incorrectly. You have to study the line drawings longer than anticipated. The zip ties are a must or the structure will wobble and the cage panels will 'pop' out of the corner pieces. I did not install the ladders, which are more appropriate for birds than cats, and so far the plastic covered panels have held up but I will have to dissemble most of the cage to get to the panels if they require repair. I had success by securing the structure with the zip ties by level as I built it up once I was certain that I had the correct panels in place. So far after 2 months the cage is working well with my 3 cats but time will tell as to the longevity. I'm undecided about the cost and whether I can recommend this mostly because of how difficult it was to ensemble without proper instructions. I could have purchased a smaller structure and perhaps my review would have more stars.
